The Yak’s Interview with BB14 Wil Heuser

Wil, the latest evictee from Big Brother sat down to chat with the Yak today to let us know his feelings on the season. Keep reading to see what he had to say!

___________________________________

Wil was extremely animated this morning, probably more animated than we have seen him this entire season. Last night, Julie had mentioned to him about a large alliance in the house called the “Silent Six.” We asked him who he thought might be in that alliance and Wil knew exactly who it was. “If I had to make an educated guess on the not so Silent Six, that would be Britney, Shane, Dan, Danielle, Mike and Frank.” Wil was more astute than he appeared to be on television.

When asked about his own alliance, “Team Tits”, he is not so hopeful. “Unless the house flips, Team Tits will be having drinks together in a couple of weeks” he said. Had he stayed and won HOH this week, he was really hoping to make a bigger move in the game. His choice for nominations would have been Dan and Mike, with his target directed straight on Dan. Had one of them been removed from the block, his replacement would have either been Shane or Frank. “Removing Frank would disable Mike and removing Mike would disable Frank.” He would have tried to align with Danielle and Shane, which he says he started that ball rolling in week two.

When made aware that the ‘Silent Six’ may be ready to nominate Frank and Boogie via Shane’s HOH win last night, Wil said “If that’s true I think you can kiss Frank’s butt goodbye. My gut says they will go after Frank.” Wil agrees that the coaches need to sit next to boogie in order to win. In fact, he believes anyone sitting next to Boogie at the end will fair well for them.

He truly believes that if these newbies don’t wake up, that Dan will be the most deserving to win the game. “Dan is playing just like he did in his season, making his moves through Danielle, and in a great position in the house. If he makes it to the end, he should win the whole thing again.”

As for regrets, Wil says he doesn’t have many. If there were one thing he could take back, it would be lying to Frank and Boogie in week three about who he was going to vote out. “I consider myself to be a pretty good liar” he said, but “I think I gave away all my cards in that move and It inevitably hurt me and got me on the block and out the door.”

What about the Janelle eviction? What was the advantage of evicting Janelle who was truly on your side this whole game? Wil responded that there was no advantage. “I got myself off the block and she (Janelle) just happened to go up. If Ashley and I were to have voted to keep her, it would have just put a bigger target on our back. She was not real liked by many of the HGs. She was definitely one of the most disliked people in the house.” He said. When he was informed that Janelle was hurt by some of the things he said about her in the house, he replied that he hopes he and Janelle can bond outside of the game. “It was an equal two way street with her and I. I voted her out because I didn’t want that target on my back. She was leaving regardless of how Ashley and I voted. The problem Janelle had in the house was that she didn’t take any interest in getting to know other houseguests on a personal level and when you talked to her it was all about Janelle.” He believes a part of her needs to take responsibility for her own eviction and how she played. It can’t all be him and Ashley for the reason she left the game.

After Frank won HOH, why did Wil not tell Frank and Boogie what they wanted to hear in their discussion to keep himself safe? “It was frustrating because I knew there was a big alliance that I wasn’t a part of, so I didn’t want to to say something that would make me a bigger target. If I was going out, I wanted to go out with my dignity in tact. After the Veto, Frank could have made the biggest move and gotten Dan out… one of the best players in BB history, but he made a mistake.”

Did Wil really want to be evicted before Jury? “Once I knew there was a large alliance in the house, once I knew for certain I was going home, just to go to sequester to give someone else 500k… it wasn’t very tasty to my palette so to speak.”

What was Wil’s take on the supposed homophobic slurs slung by Willie? Wil says he knew they were a fabrication by Frank and made out to be more than what they were. “I don’t know if they showed this on TV or the feeds or not, but I actually took Joe in the storage room and said I would play it up to get sympathy card. I know that sounds horrible.”

Many people expected Wil to last longer in the Pirate Ship Endurance Competition. Asked how much longer he thinks he could have lasted, he said “I could have gone maybe 15 minutes more. It’s a lot harder than it looks! If you were over 5’7” it was going to be a hard Competition. Danielle looked like she was about to pull a cigarette out and smoke it… So I looked at Danielle and asked if I was safe, she said yeah (obviously that wasn’t true) and then looked at Shane who was struggling and said “you jump, I jump.”  I don’t regret jumping when I did. Danielle was going to hang on there all night if she could.”

We asked Wil what he thought his biggest move in the game was to date. “I didn’t get a chance to make one. I had Mike and Frank eating out of the palm of my hand at one point, but then the coaches came in… my big move was yet to come.” Too late.

Now, we know what’s on the mind of many of our readers… His extensions. Yes, it was asked… why does he constantly pick at them? Are they itchy? Why did he decide to get them before he came into the house? He says that he had a “Britney” (Spears) moment back in the Spring and chopped all his locks off. He regretted it as he had always had long hair, so he had decided then to get extensions. About the constant playing with it? “It’s a habit of mine to twirl my hair… when I was doing it i was strategizing and thinking.” (He must have been strategizing and thinking A LOT!)

We pressed Wil about what he thought about some of his former Houseguests… But he says that was the best part of coming into the house, all the different personalities and unique bunch of people. “They are all standup guys and gals. Hopefully friends for life.”

We heard him say once that he thought Jenn was really subdued, but what about Wil? He seemed pretty subdued as well to some. Was it strategic? Wil says yes.  “It was calculated. I’m usually very emotional but I didn’t want to come off as a loose cannon. I wanted to play this level headed and as someone you could trust in the house.”

What are his thoughts on the Shane/Danielle showmance that BB is trying to portray? “I think it’s the most un-genuine thing in the house. He is nasty to Danielle, sure he plants those kisses on her when the time is right or when necessary, but says a lot of hurtful comments to her. I think she just genuinely wants to be his friend and he sort of leads it on for the camera but he will go around and be a total jerk to her.”

How about Wil? Was he tempted for a Showmance with anyone in the house? No, he says. There was no one of his “taste” in there apparently.

How about Ian? What does he think of him? “Coming from viewers perspective i would say Ian is probably well liked. In the first couple of weeks he wasn’t well liked in the house… he did weird things. I think in the end he came out of his shell and I was happy that happened. I think he is a very special person and I hope him and I can be friends after this.”

Who has the best chance of winning this game? Wil thinks Dan has a good chance, stating again that if these newbies don’t wake up and get him out, that he deserves it… But who will set next to Dan? “Call me crazy, but my money is on Ashley” he says. “If Ashley doesn’t get voted out in the next couple of weeks, she will be in one of the two chairs at the end.” He at one point thought Frank could take it all, but thinks that Frank has fallen into the pits of Boogie with no chance to recover.

What’s next for Wil? He is hoping to do another video for the “Wil Show” on Youtube this Friday, and may try in the future to revive his singing career. He says for 10 years it has been all about music for him. He has worked with Producers in the past and hopes that maybe he can again in the future, but he is going to take that one day at a time.

As for the Louisville Cards or the Kentucky Wildcats? He says Cards all the way!

SYTYCD: Honoring the Legendary Mia Michaels

In the midst of critical praise and a plethora of Emmy nominations, outside of the dance world, So You Think You Can Dance is arguably underrated in the reality TV genre. While people flock more to see celebrities try to dance, in a world of abounding reality competitions, the majority singing related, So You Think You Can Dance rests in a comfortable niche amongst its fans nearly midway through Season 9. After cuts by the Fox network this season, eliminating the show’s third hour each week and combining eliminations into the performance episode, many feared that this might spell the end of the reality TV gem.

Stepping aside from that uncertainty and setting aside (for just a moment) the UNBELIEVABLE talent the show has given us summer after summer (and even during the lockout inspired winter season), the SYTYCD dancers would not be able to shine as they do without the brilliance of the choreographers that stand behind them and work with them week after week. Among the many greats who have been nominated for industry awards, including the prestigious Emmys, stands out Mia Michaels. After a multi-season absence, the contestants on the show’s ninth season will bare all on stage to pay homage to one of dance’s greats.

In addition to her work for the Fox reality series, Mia has dedicated her career to working with some of the industry greats, including Celine Dion, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Tom Cruise, Gloria Estefan and Prince … just to name a few. In 2005, she choreographed Dion’s Vegas show, “A New Day,” for which she snagged an Emmy nomination. Just two years later, Michaels went home with an Emmy award for Outstanding Choreography for “Calling You,” which was showcased on SYTYCD’s 2nd season. In 2010, Michaels won three Emmys in the same category for “Koop Island Blues,” “Gravity,” and “One.” The following year, she earned Emmys for “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “When We Dance,” “This Bitter Earth/On the Nature of Daylight,” putting her at a “tie” that year with fellow SYTYCD choreographers Tabitha and Napolean D’Umo. She was also stationed as a permanent judge on the show’s 7th season, alongside Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe and Step Up producer Adam Shankman.

To SYTYCD fans dismay, in 2009, Mia announced via Twitter that she will be leaving the show after five wonderful years. The door was, however, always open for a potential return. Since then, Michaels has expanded her choreography resume, worked on a clothing line and picked up a book deal. It was about a year later when her return to the show was confirmed.

Mia is the founder, artistic director, and choreographer for her New York based dance company, RAW (Reality at Work), which has been around since 1997.

With that, the remaining 14 dancers on SYTYCD’s ninth season will pay tribute to a choreographer whose pieces have struck the hearts of MANY around the world. As Season 4’s Joshua noted after performing “Hometown Glory,” “It’s so much more than dancing.”

Filled with raw emotion and storytelling (and a little bit of fun), we’ve chosen some of the many inspiring and breathtaking pieces Mia Michaels has given the show. So, sit back, enjoy and look forward to tonight’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance, which airs at 8/7c on Fox. You don’t want to miss it! That’s our Yak guarantee!

Which routines are you hoping to see tonight?

Big Brother 14 – The Yak’s Interview with Evicted Big Brother Houseguest Janelle Pierzina

Bye, Bye, Bitches Jani! – Evicted Big Brother Houseguest Janelle Pierzina sits down with Mikey for an exclusive interview.

________________________________________

Still reeling from her untimely eviction, Big Brother legend, turned coach, turned third time competitor Janelle Pierzina sat down with The Yak today for an exclusive interview on her stay in the Big Brother house.

The biggest question on everyone’s mind was the bitter rivalry she shared with Season seven winner Mike “Boogie” Malin. When asked whether or not she thought he was playing it personal, Janelle said yes. “It was like he was playing with some vendetta against me for Will” the legend said. On remaining friends with the former winner turned coach outside of the game she said “probably not, he played it personal and I try not to do that”.

When time came to discuss the seasons “Coaches Twist” Janelle explained that she enjoyed it. “My favorite part was when my newbies would come to me with all this information everyday” she said in response to questions about Wil, Ashley, and Joe. Two of which – Joe and Wil, she’d surprisingly like to see walk out the door sooner rather than later. Although she has forgiven both Wil and Ashley for their betrayal, she went on to say that “Ashley and Wil are playing the game one week at a time” a move Jani isn’t too fond of.

What was Janelle’s ultimate downfall in the Big Brother house this time around? “That I’m a competitor” she said confidently. “I felt like Britney was threatened that I was a fan favorite” she added. A woman of few emotions, Jedi Jani broke her tough exterior with tears last night upon her departure from the house. “I hugged this really nice lady when I walked out, and I just couldn’t hold it in. I felt like I let her down!” Janelle said humbly.

Another hot topic was the issue of leaving her family behind to enter the house a third time. Many a Big Brother fan made their voice heard on the topic this summer, but what did Janelle have to say? Somewhat surprised, she simply said it was “rude”. A dignified and classy response to a question that could have potentially been volatile, it’s safe to say that the Big Brother beauty is confident in the decision she made.

As we get closer to the finale, everyone wants to know who has what it takes to make it to the final two? And, as any true Big Brother fan does, Janelle has her top picks. “I think Dan has what it takes win, and I’m rooting for him” she said. Of all the houseguests she lived with this Summer Janelle has the most respect for fellow coach and former winner Dan Gheesling. “Dan’s the only one who came to me and said look you’re leaving, I respected that ya know? I was always honest with people in season six and seven and I played the same way this time.” Not only does Janelle believe Dan has what it takes to get to the end, she believes the same of fellow coach Britney Haynes. “I definitely think Britney has a shot at making it to the end” she said. Of the newbies, “I would like to see Ian win because he’s a fan. Not so much for his game play, we didn’t talk much game; we talked about nature and science a lot. He was kind of awkward, socially. I will definitely be rooting for him if he makes it to the end” But, what about those who don’t have a shot at making it to the end? Janelle filled us in on her bottom picks. “Wil, Ashley, and Jenn really don’t have what it takes” she told us with much certainty.

After what proved to be a wild week, who surprised Janelle the most? “Britney, we had good times in the house, we always did stuff together. I could definitely tell that something was up with her, and Dan had dropped some hints too so I kind of knew what was going on.”

Is this the last we’ll see of the Big Brother legend? Not necessarily. She wouldn’t rule out returning to air waves if the “right thing” came along, but she did make one thing clear, her life is in Minnesota not Los Angeles. All in all, Janelle seems at peace with her departure from the house. She can’t wait to get back to Minneapolis to reunite with her baby girl and the love of her life.

CBS Presses Forward With The Glass House Lawsuit

AP – Los Angeles

CBS still wants to evict “The Glass House” from the airwaves.

The network moved ahead with its lawsuit against ABC this week by amending its filing that alleges ABC copied elements of “Big Brother” for its new reality TV competition series “The Glass House.”

CBS attorneys added several more objections to the show now that ABC has aired several episodes, arguing that “’Glass House’ employs the same plot, themes, mood, setting, pace, characters, dialogue, sequence of events and other concrete elements making up ‘Big Brother.’”

CBS originally sought to stop “Glass House” from premiering in June, but a federal judge refused. U.S. District Judge Gary Feess agreed with ABC attorneys who argued that many of the filming techniques employed on “Glass House” are not unique to “Big Brother” and are used in other reality TV shows.

Both shows employ dozens of cameras to monitor a houseful of contestants vying for a cash prize, but Feess ruled the shows are likely to play out very differently.

Among the similarities that CBS added to its lawsuit this week were that both shows feature an “obligatory older” and “openly gay” player, “showmances” as a plot element and “generally comfortable, cloistered house” environments.

CBS says “Glass House” violates copyrights and trade secrets from “Big Brother” and alleges that dozens of former “Big Brother” staffers and producers now working with ABC on “Glass House” may have violated non-disclosure agreements.

The seventh episode of “Glass House” aired Monday on ABC.

The 14th season of “Big Brother” is currently airing three nights a week on CBS.

A spokesman for ABC said the network has no comment about the updated lawsuit.

ABC lawyers previously said “Glass House” is different because many of the contestants’ decisions, and who remains in the house, are made by audience votes. Only the first season of “Big Brother” allowed viewers to choose which houseguest was evicted.

What do you think? Are you surprised CBS is pressing forward? Should they drop it?

Big Brother: Last Yak Standing ~ Week 3

“Welcome to the nomination ceremony!” Leo said as he sat they key block on the table. “I didn’t expect to be Head of Household this week, but I am definitely grateful to be here. I’ve loved getting to know everyone over the past couple of weeks. You’ve all been so kind and friendly. Of course, that makes it quite difficult to nominate any of you for eviction. However, it is my responsibility as HOH to do just that. So, here we go…”

Myst

“I have nominated KC and Justin for eviction. Neither of you really talked to me at all until I became HOH. While I did appreciate our chats today, I wish you would have tried to get to know me as Leo the person instead of Leo the Head of Household. You both have a chance at veto, and I wish you good luck! This nominations ceremony is adjourned.”

Next Up: Who will be chosen for Veto?

Big Brother: The Yak Chats with Latest Evictee JoJo

The Yak had a chance to chat with JoJo, the latest evictee from Big Brother 14. Keep reading to see what she had to say!

______________________________________

The Yak: If Willie had been on anyone else’s team, would you have cared that he got ejected? Do you think that his expulsion was the sole reason you and Shane were put on the chopping block?

JoJo: His explosion was definitely the reason. If he didn’t decide to evict himself he would have been everyone’s main target and than I would have still been in the house. I would have even voted him out myself. He just wasn’t man enough to go out the right way.

The Yak: If you could have a second chance at the BB house, what would your plea be to the viewing audience as to why you should have that second chance?

JoJo: I would not have trusted Willie. I would form new alliances. I regret putting my trust in the wrong person’s hands so I would try and make better alliances.

The Yak: Having been in the house now, do you wish you could have studied other seasons more to gain a better strategy? Would you change your strategy if you got to start all over again?

JoJo: I wish I would have watched Boogie and Janelle’s seasons so I would know a little bit more about how they think and how they play. Most of the strategies you have you can’t really use once you find out what the twist is. If the coaches hadn’t been there it would have been a totally different game.

TheYak: If you had stayed and won HOH, who would you have nominated for eviction this week?

JoJo: I wanted to go after one of Janelle’s players. I would have said Joe and Wil but right before the live show Joe came up to me and had tears in his eyes and told me the sweetest words ever. I look at him differently now. I think I would have put up Frank and Wil. Everyone else is too scared to get rid of Frank.

Yak Roundup: Country Star to Idol?, Modern Family Lawsuit, Cee Lo’s Adviser & More

Lots going on in the world of TV and entertainment today. In case you’ve missed some of the day’s biggest entertainment headlines, we figured we’d catch ya up to speed.

American Idol Courting Country Star Brad Paisley

| Well, it looks like Fox’s reality competition isn’t far from competing that much more with NBC’s The Voice, as the grand-daddy of singing competitions is looking to bring on a massive country star. With The Voice seeing success with Blake Shelton (in fact, his contestant won last season), Idol might want to dip into the country judge pool. Plus, when one of your most successful winners is a country star (Carrie Underwood), it might not hurt to keep that success rolling. Brad Paisley is reported to be highly considered by the powers that be. Now that Mariah Carey has been signed on and Randy Jackson is expected to be back, they do need a third star to fill the seats. Rumor has it that Idol is also looking to add a fourth judge, but there is not much available on that. Paisley does have a strong relationship with Season 4 winner Underwood, who was recently given a stamp of approval by Idol alum Kelly Clarkson.

He’s Movin’ On Up

| The man who brought George Jefferson to life is movin’ on up and relocating to a more peaceful place. Sherman Hemsley passes away Tuesday at his home in El Paso Texas. Hemsley was best known as George Jefferson, Archie Bunker’s neighbor in All in the Family, but his career spanned more than 38 iconic years. His role lead to The Jeffersons spin-off and many more successes. The world of television and entertainment will miss Hemsley and we wish his family and friends peace through this difficult time.

A Modern Family Dispute

| Earlier today, ABC’s hit sitcom, Modern Family, was slated to kick off Season 4 production with its first table read. Well, those plans were sidetracked at the last minute as contract talks kept the cast from showing up. Multiple members are renegotiating their contract details with the studio and those talks are not going smoothly. Following the footsteps of Friends, the cast, save Ed O’Neill, have joined forces in achieving a desired salary increase and filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court to void their contracts. This Emmy-nominated sitcom’s production schedule has now been kicked to the curb…temporarily.

Cee Lo’s Pussy Cat Replacement?

| Well, The Voice is getting a new “mascot” this year, if you will, but we are more concerned with the news that Cee Lo Green’s adviser for the season has been revealed. Matchbox 20’s frontman, Rob Thomas, has been filming his segments with Cee Lo in The Voice studio’s as the contestants are narrowed down and pit against each other in the battle rounds. Speaking of the battle rounds, Carson Daly recently hinted at changes in a recent interview that fans might appreciate after feeling a prolonged round in season 2. We previously reported that Michael Buble and Mary J Blige have signed on to help advise Blake and Adam, respectively. No word yet on Christina.

NBC Previews Fall Fare Early

| Per an NBC press release, NBC again will offer full-episode, pre-sampling versions of its new fall series prior to the network time-period premieres as each new primetime program. As NBC takes advantage of the Summer Olympics springboard to provide a full-episode and commercial-free network preview of the new comedies “Go On” (August 8) and “Animal Practice” (August 12), the online preview for those shows will be available over a wide spectrum for viewing immediately following their initial broadcasts beginning August 9 and 13, respectively. In addition, NBC will further maximize its Olympics platform by unveiling a special six-minute tease of the new fall drama “Revolution” on Saturday, August 4 at approximately 10:54 p.m. (ET) following the swimming competition that is expected to feature U.S. gold medalist swimmer Michael Phelps. Platforms where these shows will be available include: on demand and online through cable, satellite and telco providers; NBC.com; NBC Owned and affiliate station websites (should they choose to opt in); Hulu (including Hulu’s online distribution partners); iTunes, Amazon and Xbox. Select shows will be available on the Hulu Plus subscription service as well. Also be sure to stand by tomorrow for our first Fall preview of the season – featuring NBC’s fall fare, in anticipation for these early peeks.

The Olympics Get Digital and Social

| For the first time ever, NBC Olympics.com will live stream every athletic event and sport. In all, the site will stream more than 3,500 total programming hours, including the awarding of all 302 medals, and the four NBCU cable channels that are airing the Olympics (NBC Sports Network, MSNBC, CNBC and Bravo). The site will also feature the debut of the Gold Zone, an exclusive video channel offering viewers whip-around coverage of the Games’ most compelling live events. In addition, NBC Olympics has developed two new apps for the 2012 London Olympics. The NBC Olympics Live Extra app will live stream every athletic competition, each Olympic cable channel and provide multiple concurrent streams for select sports, such as gymnastics (each apparatus), track and field (each event), and tennis (up to five courts). The vast majority of content will only be available to authenticated cable, satellite or telco customers. The NBC Olympics app will be the home for everything else Olympics, including short-form highlights, event schedules, TV and online listings, results, athlete profiles, columns and the new Primetime Companion feature. NBC Olympics has also partnered with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Shazam to extend its coverage onto these popular social media platforms for the 2012 London Olympics. The social media partnerships allow the NBC Sports Group to communicate directly with fans of the Olympics and celebrate the Games with viewers in new and unique ways. Smart move Janey, keeping Frank so he and Willie would go after each other. Ashley wants to slide under the radar, my god, were I there she’d be drop kicked out that door on annoyance alone.

Dan, as always, keeps a strategy thought pattern. Gee Boogie, smart. Go after Willie instead of the last person on Dan’s team. Stupid ass. Why do these idiots always go on emotion, which is something Boogie used to preach against, instead of thinking strategy? And piss off with that CT impression in the DR with Frank.

Willie, having the worst person win HOH isn’t the end. Shane, OMG, you dork. Sure, now you jump ship when the chips are against you. Quite loyal, you are. Britney, you couldn’t have known that Willie would act that way, it’s called hindsight hon.

This is why I like Dan. Telling Danielle to get in good with Janey’s team, she’ll need those votes if Frank decides to play smart and puts her up OR the others will need her vote if she’s not up.

I’m amazed at both JoJo and Shane. On one hand, yes, cover your ass. On the other hand, they can never cry loyal. Jesus, you’d think Jesus arrived at their reaction to Frank’s HOH room.

Okay, Boogie drives me nuts but his kid is cute. He does breed well. The others shouldn’t be gloating too much towards Willie, or make remarks about his bad attitude, they’ll all be in that spot one day too.

Britney was right in lecturing Willie, and Willie’s an uber sore loser.

Oh Danielle, I had hope for you. Shane’s a dope, he’s so ugh. Hon, you can do better. Yes, dear, relationships in the BB house are always so “real”. At my count, in 14 seasons, there’s been TWO couples that have lasted beyond a year. Talk to Skeletor…I mean Erica from BB7 about how real it was for Boogie.

Boogie, piss off, if Britney wants to get rid of Willie, she can you dick. Britney, if you fall for what Boogie’s selling you then you’re a moron. If you win, get rid of Willie and YES, glad you realized it up front.

Ian, WHAT?!? My god, I realize they’re stuck there and options are limited but the taste levels in this house are just insane. He scores the “slop” date with Ashley, this is hilarious. Okay, it’s kind of cute now. But Ian, hon, you have to explain chemistry to a person like Ashley in layman’s terms.

This Britney team strategy is interesting. Do you save your team member or do you blow him off, get rid of him and hang on to your two players that aren’t…well, Willie….

This coach’s comp should be good; Britney wins and the house panics. Oh, Ian…you’re so young. Britney, hon, they’re Hammer Pants. You’re so young too.

Were I Britney, and I won, I’d get rid of Willie for someone on Boogie’s team. Force Frank and Willie together. Dan, par for the course, is going to throw it. Britney, slow down girl. Yup, you got going too fast and screwed up.

Is it me or does Ian remind anyone else of DJ Qualls? And I keep expecting Ashley to say “This one time, at band camp?!?” ROFLMFAO AAAAHAHAHAHAHA Boogie you cocky JERK! You flip your ego onto high gear and stepped off the beam before you hit the button. That’s awesome.

Janey, I loved you but you’re not exactly the comp queen. You won because Boogie’s ego was too big. Gee, will Willie go on slop? Yup. JoJo, Shane..and Ian. Big shocker there but bad move on your part hon. I’d agree with JoJo but JoJo’s a bigger bitch so yeah…pork rinds and pudding, not bad actually….

Good lord, Franks’ nipples rival BB8 Joe’s….

Willie trying to rally the team; Britney, wow….I don’t know how to feel about this. On one hand I don’t blame her, but on the other hand, seems sucky to abandon a player like that too. Russell deciding to get the heat off the others, interesting BB8 ED tactic. Britney, I get your position here, but you don’t have to be a total bitch either. UH OH, Britney stokes the fire and sets Willie off. And Willie, wow, he does seem sincere in wanting to take the heat off the others but that’s only a natural move from the house too. Willie is officially the house pariah.

Okay, so they don’t like him, he’s being a dick, they say he’s a bully so they essentially bully him by ignoring him. The House of Hypocrites. Britney, would YOU want to be totally ignored by the house and treated like crap? I don’t think so. Willie is being a prick, granted, but treat him that way….o there it goes…wow, Willie goes after Joe and Joe looked hilarious in his reaction…let’s just say that when Joe’s threatened he looks like a squirrel backed into a corner.

Smart move Ian, you would have been squished….whoops, there you go chest shoving Joe….oh it was a head butt and Britney, crying, really? You were riding the nut’s ass all day long, what did you expect? Congrats Willie, you’ve been Chima’d. Seriously, Britney, why the tears?!? JOE, STOP SHOUTING IN THE DR!!! At least he recognizes the crap situation Willie was in….

Okay, the only rankings I’m giving are that I like Danielle a lot (except for her crap taste in Shane); Dan’s a really smart coach and player. All the rest are meh right now…and I hope Boogie gets stuck in the workout room for 24 hours with Ashley as she sings every Hippie Dippie song from the 70’s stuck in her head.

So that’s it. Really wish I could’ve watched that fight on the feeds, that would’ve been fun!

Big Brother’s Couch Potato Takes on the Live Show

Weekly (or sometimes more) we have the pleasure of getting the Big Brother take from someone who ONLY watches the show. No feeds, no spoilers, to see how different our perspectives on the players are. Keep reading to see what they think so far!

Note: This feature will be submitted on a weekly basis by one of our Twitter followers! If you’d like to write for the Yak, just let us know and we’ll see what we can do! We’re open and very receptive to participation from all types of Yaks!

Better late than never, guys! Extenuating circumstances prevented me from seeing the show live BUT that’s okay because there’s a lot of ways to see it. I recapped it a bit last time and I don’t get why because you guys have seen the show, so yeah, we’re just going with my thoughts from here on out.

Carrot Top Richard Simmons Jr., going into it tonight, is who I thought would leave, seriously. I am not digging this joker. Willie is going on a major power trip right now and yeah, Wee Willie Winky, you are NOT your brother. You are nowhere near as slick as he was.

I am REALLY liking Wil more now. At first I thought he’d be annoying as hell, but he’s actually really smart and thinks things through.

FINALLY! The players start to figure out that if you get out Kara, then Dan’s down to one player and could be on his way out. Britney hit on it well, too, when they talked about how slick, how solid Dan is as a player. And Janey was SMART talking strategy to Dan but dumb move talking to him right in front of Britney. Janey, I thought you were better than that.

I wonder if there IS a twist in the game, with those keyholes, COULD they be entering the game at some point? Britney, you IDIOT, WHY WHY WHY would you tell Willie what you suspect? Did you NOT think ahead that he might get paranoid about it and go to the other players. My god Britney, don’t talk…think. LMFAO, yup, Willie ran to them right away and Britney, sayng you don’t know what he’s thinking, etc. DUH, you KNOW what he’s thinking, you’re the one who freaking told him what you suspect. My god, STUPID.

Britney lit this fire, Willie lead the charge and yeah….

Joe was right, Willie is playing too fast though. He’s right, if they come in the game one of the coaches could walk away with the 500K. So they’re both right. Welcome to the Department of Redundancy Department, Couch Potato.

I really hope there’s a challenge involving head shaving because I so want to see Frank’s hair cut, it drives me crazy.

Willie, Mr. Deflection, throwing himself off the track by mocking Wil in front of Britney. In front of Frank. Stupid ass. Joe saying Willie was trying to dictate who voted, how, wow. Good move Joe saying that, it exposes Willie. IT could have been a bold move by Willie but the way he did it was dumb too.

Congratulations, Frank! You FINALLY realize that you can’t trust Willie, DUH. Stupid ass. Joe, STOP YELLING IN THE DR. Dan was bad enough, you’re worse and everything is part of the game, mocking people, but it’s dumb to do so too in front of a bunch of people, the way Willie did Wil. I loved Wil’s reaction to it; I don’t think Willie’s homophobic but I can understand being upset at being mocked too. And Britney, wow, let’s stoke the fire in Willie a bit more, would you? Her talking about others running their mouths when she’s spreading paranoia too..Hi Pot!

Oh, oh, FIGHT FIGHT! Was it better on the feeds than what was shown? No wait, don’t tell me, tell me at the end of the season. Willie, Wee Willie, you are acting like some messiah guru…let me clue you in, you’re not. Okay, when he got to the Fruit Loops part, yeah, he lost me….Boogie, why jump in? Remember when you were a guest during BB11 and talked about how Kevin avoided conflict? Yeah, you should have remembered that, your outburst was dumb. Just let Willie bury himself. Stupid ass.

By the way, whatsup with Julie’s dress? She looks like a Push-Up pop.

Oh yay, question for JoJo…hon, it’s “ask”, not “aks”. You didn’t expect drama, really? Even week one? Ian, I don’t get him, he borders on adorkable and creepy. Lose the beret Wil. And the see through shirt. You seem to be a smart player, but you annoy me…as does Ashley, “loosey goosey” really? OMG. If Willie doesn’t pull a Chima at some point, I’d be surprised. He’s gonna blow, I can feel it. Boogie is not aging well.

Live vote time! I want Frank to go but wouldn’t be shocked if Kara goes because of Willie’s antics. Frank’s speech…whatever Frank, everyone has fought hard to get there. Look at your coach, he’s a bully too. Kara’s speech….really? Played an honest game? No one plays honest in this game, not 100%. They’d be smart to get rid of Frank; if he doesn’t go now it’s going to be HARD to get him out. Here we go with the votes.

Ian looked like he wanted to hang around in the DR after he voted, LMAO! Julie is right, Jenn is playing like a “Jenius” so far, she’s totally avoiding conflict. Wil, your underwear was showing there. Ashley’s annoying but she’s also laying low. WOW, bye bye Kara. That was both smart and dumb. Frank is a strong player, watch now he gets HOH. Kara going is a good thing, brings Dan’s team down to one player.

Willie looked like he wanted to throw up when Kara was evicted…..love the exit hugs, “Love you. Just evicted your ass but yea, love you”. Poor Danielle, that’s got to be scary as hell.

I think Kara was evicted because of Willie being an ass, honestly, there’s no other reason. Joe, you’re a JERK. STOP SHOUTING YOU DORK. My god, what a douchenozzle. Shane, you’re a pig too.

Okay, HOH time. I want someone on Janey’s team to win HOH, or better yet, Danielle. THAT would be fun, watching the lone player on Dan’s team. Seeing Willie sweat would be fun, but I’d hate for Frank to win because he’s annoying too. LMAO at the BB News thingy! I would have slept on that couch if allowed…why did people continue to go back to bed? So, Shane’s out first, HA. WOW, on the second question, all out but two. Calm down there Frank, dang. Omg Willie looked like he was going to puke again at this point.

OMG LMFAO, Frank is the new HOH. Hilarious! Willie has to pass on the key too. Now, watch both Frank and Boogie go on a massive power trip this week and make the same mistakes Willie did. I can see this already. Smart move for Frank would be to focus on getting Danielle out. She’s out, Dan’s out. That’s one coach out, one less chance of his coach losing the Coach’s Comp. Emotional move would be to nominate Willie and someone else on Britney’s team..Shane or JoJo. Willie, saying Frank will pay back loyalty, really? So wait, Willie can’t dictate to others what’s done but you can talk as if you do?

I don’t think Frank is smart enough to focus on Danielle.

Wow, Coach winning this week’s coaches competition decides whether or not they want to swap a player? I was gonna say someone should snag Frank since Boogie has a man-crush on him but alas, not to be. So my prediction; Frank nominates Willie and someone else from his team. I’m also gonna say that Willie wins POV and fluffs his peacock feathers again. Dan, tell Danielle to lay low bud, that’s her best bet. Let Willie and others implode.

Now I shall rank the players and the coaches on a scale of who I like most to least, 1 is most, 11 is least for the players, 1 is most for the coaches, 4 is least.

1) Danielle
2) Jenn
3) Wil
4) Ian

Honestly, the other six annoy the piss out of me. Joe shouts too much. Ashley is on a permanent free love high, Willie is a wannabe of his big brother, JoJo is just blech, Shane is a LMN wannabe. Frank, don’t get me started, and someone shave his head. If I forgot someone that should say something.

I like Dan the most as a coach, Janey’s next, then Britney and then Boogie. That’s it. Anything good on the feeds since the live show?
