A Kardashian To Host X Factor USA?

Ok, well nothing is official yet, but rumors are starting to flood as to who will be taking over the hosting gig for The X Factor’s 2nd season, set to premiere this September. After Steve Jones was let go from the show after one season, ideas have been fired at the people at Fox as possible replacements. Well, EW is now reporting a few names that have been hovering around the air lately.

While Cowell doesn’t want to rehash a host fail from last season, he’s surely taking care in making this decision, so as to pick the best possible DUO. Yes, there will be a duo – one guy and one girl that will be expected to have flawless chemistry. “I want to work with a boy and girl and I definitely think this is a role for two people,” Cowell told reporters. “[We] have narrowed it down to 5 people.”

The X Factor is currently filming the audition rounds sans a host. Judges Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Levato and LA Reid are likely acting to keep the flow moving.

Adam Lambert to Judge American Idol?

Names that have been lingering in the air are Rocsi Diaz (BET personality), Mario Lopez (America’s Best Dance Crew host), Stacy Keibler (actress/model), Khloé Kardashian (reality show personality), Kelly Osbourne (E! News correspondent), Terrence J (BET’s 106 & Park host), Erin Andrews (sportscaster), Mike Catherwood (radio personality), Stevie Ryan (VH1 comedy actress) and Katerina Graham (Vampire Diaries).

“If you count, which I did, over a two-hour show, we separated what the host says, and it’s 12 minutes — and a lot of that is quite boring information. There are ways of relaying information that it doesn’t become like a news reader’s role. Like if I go on Jay Leno’s show, I love doing it with someone else because you bounce off each other and it puts less pressure on me and I enjoy the interview more. When the hosts are facing four judges, I think it’s very intimidating and I think you need another opinion.”

Cowell also went on to note that he always thought American Idol hosting should have been a two-person job but that the right 2nd person was never found.
