Did you watch Sunday? Are you hooked? So far on the Race, everyone seems to get along really well. Not much fighting within the teams, no fighting with other teams. I for one like the drama, but I have to say it’s nice, so far, not to hear the relationship drama that usually plays out on the Race.
This week, the teams went to Ghana! Most teams were excited, some acted disappointed once getting there. The people live pretty poor, and there are a lot of them. They had to install TV Antenas, push custom coffins across town, (those were interesting) and race around town in cabs as usual, but with some truly crazy drivers! Seriously, I would have needed a Xanax.
Brook and “Watermelon” Claire, the Home Shopping Hosts, were the first team to arrive winning a 10 trip to Hawaii. Well deserved I think for getting hit in the face with a watermelon in the last leg. I was happy to see them win the trip.
Phil announced that the last team “may” be eliminated, but that turned out to be a false non-elim hope for Andie and Jenna, the recently reunited birth mom and daughter from Georgia, who were the next to be told their race was over.
Starting in last place on the next leg will be Gary and Mallory, the father and daughter team from Kentucky. I really like them, so I am hoping that it is yet another ‘every team catches one another at the airport’ kind of thing.
What do you think about this season of the race? Who is your favorite so far?
