American Idol Apologizes for Steven Tyler’s Behavior?

American Idol starts off tonight’s show with a black card, apologizing for Steven Tyler’s Behavior last week, according to Ryan Seacrest. What behavior was that? Well, we’re not too sure, and Ryan isn’t spilling. Al he said was that viewers would know what it was for, so if you missed it, then you are out of the loop.

Many of us here at the Yak have watched all the shows, and I guess there could be a few reasons for the apology:

1. Hitting on the girls, especially the ones under 18. One of our members (thank you artist) in the forum even suspects that Chris Hansen will be walking into the audition room soon.
2. Cussing. Not that it needs an apology since it’s bleeped, but I guess for the younger set, it could have sparked an apology?
3. Ratings. Yep, ratings… I mean, if they are starting the show with an apology, and Ryan is telling this to all his listeners on the radio, and places like, well, us, are telling you about it, well then more people may tune in yes?

So I guess the answer is, tune in tonight to see what’s up? The other answer is… Go into our FORUM and discuss the show. The forum is open for guests to post during the live east coast airing of the show, so you don’t even need to register to join the discussion!

Yeah why did they show that apology? I did not see any behavior that would have warranted an apology.

I saw nothing he needed to apologize for

all i can think of is the flirting…big woop! i bet it was because of the dark haired girl who was a huge fan, and she sang parts of dream on…thats all i can think of…

He said to one of the contestants, “you could be one of my (hesitation) nope” what ever that meant. I think anyone with an imagination can speculate. Other than the swearing I saw nothing other than he’s hitting on some of them.
