American Idol, Final Three

Tonight, we say a sad farewell to Allison Iraheta off of the Idol stage, leaving the final three of Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Yes, I do call bullshit, but what can one do? The damage cannot be undone. However, I still believe that Allison will be bigger than any of those left. I still believe that she will own her career. She is a genuine rocker, and will spin this thing around quite quickly. If I could have picked a song for Allison to sing tonight to say goodbye? “So What” by Pink. Yeah, give it a listen if you never have, and you will see the point. So what Allison. You’re still a rock star. I will say that as amazing as her performance was last night, it was even more amazing tonight.

Now I thought to myself that I may not watch the rest of this season, because there is really no one left for me to ultimately root for as an “American Idol”… but I will watch. It will be interesting to see what the judges pick for Danny… that’s pretty much the only one I have any interest in at this point… and Allison, can’t wait for your debut album!
