American Idol: Top 13?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, their Idol “source” has filled them in that following the elimination of seven guys and seven girls from the Top 24 this Thursday, a wild card round will determine not two, but three additional finalists, all to be chosen by the judges.

Fox would not comments, and the only info released so far was a press release back in January that left it vague: “The semifinalists compete on Tuesday, March 1 and Wednesday, March 2. The five male and five female contestants with the most votes will be the first to join this season’s finalists. The judges’ will also make their special Wild Card picks rounding out the finalists on Thursday, March 3.”

This is Idol though, and things can always change at a moments notice. In the past, they have had double eliminations, saves, etc. Adam Lambert’s season actually had a top 13. However, being reported to THR, this rumor is probably more on the real side than not. So… who will get saved with them including a 13th spot? Well, we have our picks on who we hope isn’t saved!
