Last night on TAR it was a show to remember! Chad and Stephanie started out in dead last due to oversleeping by almost 2 hours. The duo was able to recover and surge to the front end of the racing pack.
Chad shared his thoughts with the viewers that he had been carrying his mother’s engagement ring during the race. He was waiting for the “perfect” time & place to declare his intentions to the love of his life. Chad asked Stephanie to go for a walk and with the romantic backdrop of the Arabian Sea he set his plan in motion. “I couldn’t see spending my life with anyone else but you” Chad declared and he asked Stephanie on bended knee to marry him. Stephanie accepted!! The other teams shared in the joy with congratulations for the loving couple.
The race continued and the first place team this leg of the race was Chad and Stephanie. The couple won a trip for two from Travelocity to Belize. Stephanie declared later that “It was pretty much a perfect day.”
