Hey, welcome back to my ANTM recap, this episode the girls have highs and lows, and we get to see the b*tchy side of pretty much everyone. Which makes any reality TV fan happy I am sure. Anyway, back to me doing a second recap? Am I really starting to commit to something… I think my school could learn something from this and do a lesson on reality TV, then maybe I will come in more often. IMA JUST SAYING.
We start the show with the obvious “wooo” for Victoria who won best photo last week, which results in some eyes raised to heaven when she continues to rant on about her mum. The uniqueness of the whole “home-schooled” scenario has worn off now. Just stop it Victoria. Just stop it. We also get Yvonne saying she will do better, as she was in bottom two. Well obviously you are gonna have to do better else BYE BYE token plus-sized girl.
We finally get to see the b*tchier side to Kristin after she takes a lighter from Destiny’s bag. Without asking. Seriously though, the things these girls argue over… Well it makes for good TV I guess. Anyway Destiny goes cray cray, and Kristin is all like “Hit me. Hit me.” We see hand movement then
COMMERCIAL BREAK
I see what you are doing Tyra, I see what you are doing. Anyway, Destiny doesn’t hit Kristin, but Nastacia jumps in from nowhere talking about dragging a girl along the floor. WOAH GIRL. SOMEONE WANTS MORE AIRTIME.
Destiny retaliates in the confessional with how she is a sensitive person, and she has been through a lot. Ok, yeah you probably have, they aren’t gonna get someone who hasn’t been through something on the show. But this competition isn’t about how much you need to win. It’s about talent, plain and simple.
Acting Challenge
It’s Tyler Perry. (Is it bad I dont actually know who that is?) Anyway, the challenge is for the girls to go onto the street and basically embarrass themselves by acting as a certain stereotype. They had – Street performer, diva, tourist and rap artist, which were chosen by picking a flag… I don’t get it. All the girls they showed were hilarious, doesn’t seem like anyone held back. However, with a prize of a walk-in role on one of Tyler Perry’s new productions and a possible 10k towards there college on the line, I guess holding back wasn’t an option.
It didn’t really seem like anyone sucked, but a couple of girls seemed to go batsh*t crazy. Victoria ended up on the floor screaming after getting a chicken thrown at her by a homeless man. Which, let me tell you was a pretty darn awesome homeless man. What if he was one of those rich people who pretend to be homeless… that would be fun. Anyway, after she got through, everyone else made me laugh, Yvonne was rapping all through the town, and Laura once again mentioned how her dad was an actor in a show called Dynasty. Ok, Laura… all you are telling me by that is that your daddy bought you onto this show… Mmmhmm.
In the end, Kiara won and in the bottom were Destiny, Leila and Nastacia with 6,6 and 5 respectively. The obvious focus on Destiny out of these three, kinda ruined who was going home this week.
Photo shoot
It’s time for the photo shoot, and this week it is zombies!!! Sexy zombies though, but not too sexy, also not too “modelly,” but it has to be “modelly” enough, but can’t be pretty and you can’t look like you are trying. GOOD LUCK GIRLS.
Nothing particularly exciting happened during the photo shoot. Kristin got told she has an attitude again, and is still fighting the whole not being pretty thing. Also there is another Kristin b*tch-fest and she is a spoiled brat apparently. Yvonne doesn’t own her curves, and Destiny just ain’t giving it to the camera.
Anyway, onto my little “game” of the recap. As they are dressed up as zombies, I ain’t gonna marry or kiss any of them. So for this week I am going to join this new way of judging and make this game social -media-esque. So its now time for the game of SHARE, TWEET OR DELETE. Just a quick overview, for me, sharing is a picture I think is great and I think other people would think is great. Tweet is a picture which I think is a love or hate picture, and I love it. And delete, well you can probably get what that means.
Share - Laura, her picture is really just breathtaking, and the public were so right giving her the best social media score to date. The only thing I dont like is her foot poking out, but seriously it’s an amazing shot, and she deserved best photo for sure.
Tweet – Jessie, once again we are gonna jump into the comeback show. I have to say I absolutely LOVE this photo of Jessie. She is working it for me, and I am starting to want her to comeback, especially if she continues to improve like this.
Delete – Kiara, I just really can’t stand this photo. The positioning is horrible. The face does nothing for me and the only thing that is possibly working for her is the outfit. I cannot stand this photo.
Judging
The girls definitely didnt get a break this week. We had no 10′s from the judges, and quite a few low scores. They gave Yvonne and Destiny the lowest scores with only 16 out of 30. So they ended up in the bottom 2. However, Yvonne’s challenge score really saved her this week and Destiny was eliminated into the comeback series. Not a bad turnout. Laura also got best photo, along with the best social media score to date, which Tyra emphasized was better than Kristin’s… Also Kristin herself, asked the judges how to not be pretty, so the whole audience got another overview of “ugly pretty” by Tyra… Ugh.

I don’t see anything wrong with this weeks judging, apart from I have a feeling Rob is basically just copying whatever scores the other judges give. He really doesnt know what to look for which bugs me as a quarter of these girls points come from him because Tyra has a crush.
My table doesnt really have a problem with Destiny’s elimination, however, the gaps between first and last are getting bigger, and Yvonne really needs to step up her game.
