Gather your clones and rejoice! BBC America announced Thursday afternoon that they intend to bring back critically acclaimed “Orphan Black” for a second season. The second season will air in 2014 and will consist of 10 episodes, similar to its first season.
BBC Worldwide America General Manager Perry Simon released a statement claiming, “Tatiana Maslany has delivered one of the year’s standout performances. We can’t wait to see who Tatiana shows up as in Season 2.”
The series bowed on March 30 and is arguably one of the best new shows of the year. The drama has fared well in the ratings department and has kept critics praising lead Tatiana Maslany and the rest of the cast. Season one is underway and will air its finale June 1.
