Since Thursday we, the loyal fans of Big Brother, have been treated to behavior on the feeds the rival the epic terrible two’s tantrum of all time. Jeff opted to use the Coup D’etat that he rightfully won. And yes, he WON it despite other houseguests claims because part of Big Brother is appealing to America, for America’s Vote. Jeff and Jordan did just that.
When Jeff used the Coup, he replaced Lydia and Russell with Jessie and Natalie. Jessie was then evicted by a vote of 3-2. Michele then won Head of Household. From everything we’ve gathered since then; Chima, Lydia and Natalie went on an outright rampage. Doing things such as dumping out Russell’s luggage, throwing Jeff’s clothes on his bed and taking their sheets off their bed and rubbing them on the floor. At one point Thursday night Lydia threatened to mutilate Jeff with a corkscrew. They then on Friday monopolized use of the washer/dryer the entire day, to prevent the other houseguests from using it.
Very early Saturday morning Chima, who had been in defiance of Big Brother production all along, threw her mic pak in the hot tub, presumably destroying it. When her alliance member Kevin got another one she clipped it to her waist, telling production to create a vacuum on a certain appendage. Then we got treated to at least an hour of fish on the feeds and when they came back, Chima was gone.
Mid-day Saturday we discovered that due to Chima’s ouster from the game, Michele would no longer be Head of Household and a new competition would be held. This is rumored to take the place of the Fast Forward that had been set to occur this next Thursday, but we can’t confirm that at this time. (Note to AG productions, we say you do shorten the competition by a week and treat the viewers to a full show of jury questions!). The HOH competition was held and Jordan was the winner. (Go Jordo!)
What we’ve learned since then was that during this last HOH competition a very drunken Lydia approached Michele in a threatening manner with a golf club (at which point Russell intervened per his words, pulling Michele aside to avoid a possible assault by Lydia). Apparently Lydia and Natalie heckled Jordan during the competition as well, calling her fat and a ho (and if Jordan’s fat then I’m the Queen of England, that girl is GORGEOUS. If she’s a ho, then Paris Hilton is still a virgin, this is a girl who’s afraid of doing a “booger” and upset her grandpa!). What apalls me about the attack on Jordan is that she is quite possibly the sweetest person ever to grace the Big Brother environment. Last night she and Jeff cooked for the entire house, and we could go on and on about how despite all thrown at her and Jeff, they’ve never wavered in their behavior or attitude in this game.
Lydia also apparently attempted to break out one of the windows in the backyard with the golf club, and from what we can discern, something was thrown during the competition, injuring Michele. After we got the feeds back, we were witness to yet ANOTHER confrontation, this time with Lydia flying off the handle, screaming at Michele, Russell and somewhat at Jeff as well. Jeff and Russell attempted to bring peace to the Big Brother house, explaining that while it’s a game and hurt feelings are going to be involved but that they should at least try to be civil, at least try to enjoy this unique opportunity they’ve all been given.
In the meantime, Russell was subject to more mockery of his ethnicity, with Lydia and Natalie once again bringing up the terrorist remarks that Chima began earlier in the week. Plus, while Natalie, Lydia and Kevin were wrongly using the chessboard and M&M’s to create a calendar of events from the season, Lydia wanted to put a red M&M in Micheles food or drink. Why is this bad? Michele is allergic to the red dye in the M&M and this very well could have caused severe injury and possibly her death.
We at YakkityYaks have to ask, when do things go from simply being competitive and trying to psych another side out, to being out and out poor sports………and then all the way to absolute wrong? There’s no rules about hiding others things, even dumping them out. There’s no rules against monopolizing use of the appliances. There ARE rules against physical threats towards another houseguest and violence towards them as well. But here’s the best part. Each time Lydia, Natalie and Chima have acted up………..BIG BROTHER GIVES THEM BEAUTY PRODUCTS!!! Last night Lydia was given Manic Panic hot pink hair dye, to calm her down. Big Brother is a franchise and we understand the need to protect that, but congratulations because you have now enabled this disgusting and deplorable behavior. You’ve basically told them they can do what they want and if they get upset, no worries, you’ll get makeup.
Be upset about losing in a game, but dear god, you’re adults. GROW UP. These three people; Lydia, Natalie and Chima have quite possibly become the most hated houseguests of all time and that’s quite a feat considering the ire aimed at the Nerd Herd from Big Brother 6. How did they get so hated? Not because they had the upper hand during the first part of the game, but rather because of this very behavior. We hope they learn from this when they leave Big Brother, but based on an interview with Chima the other day and her continued denial of any wrongdoing, we doubt it.
What we do know is this. There’s a difference between being competitive, being a poor sport and absolute wrong. A BIG ONE. And hopefully when casting is done for Big Brother 12, they put those candidates through psychological testing the likes of which have never been seen before, so we don’t end up with a group of…….well, tantrum throwing babies such as what we have now! Kudos to Jeff and Russell for keeping their cool over the last three days. Kudos to Jordan for staying as sweet as she’s ever been. Kudos to Michele for finally standing up for herself yesterday.
