Cowell, Palin and Leno ... Oh My!

Evening Yakksters.

News on Jay Leno’s show being cancelled hit the air waves yesterday. It still stands undetermined how NBC will shift their late-night lineup. Leno’s show last airs on Feb 12. Todays news takes us in a totally different direction! Simon Cowell WILL be leaving American Idol after this Season, the shows 9th season. As Simon leaves one show, he will land on another. The X Factor, Cowell’s successful show in the UK will make its way to Fox next season. To make things even more crazy (or awesome depending how you look at it), Sarah Palin has signed a deal with FoxNews. It’s still a little fuzzy as to what she’ll be doing or if she’ll have her own show, but she will be a part of the network as commentator. Many are suggesting this means she will not run come 2012. What do you think?. Come talk about these and other stories in our forums!

Dominic Monaghan appears in ABC Promo; Hopes Raised and Dashed for Charlie Fans…

As one of THE biggest Charlie from LOST fans, and a HUGE fan of Dominic Monaghan, I got VERY excited when I saw a certain ABC promo with him in it. (Those promos of late are FANTASTIC!). Made me hope against hope that somehow, some way, my Charlie was going to be brought back to the island (and with recent news that Emilie De Ravin WILL be a series regular again during the final season of LOST, what a treat that would’ve been!).
