Matt Rogers (“American Idol,” “Really Big Things”) Hosts

THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD, a new seven episode reality-competition series, premieres Sunday, Aug. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The series features eight families in a suburban neighborhood who are enclosed by a massive 20-foot wall as they compete in family-friendly games for the grand prize of $250,000.

In what promises to be the ultimate social and family bonding experiment, this neighborhood will be cut off from the outside world as it becomes family vs. family in a competition to win upgrades for their lives and their homes. With virtually no electricity and no ability to text-message, watch television or surf the Internet, these families will be forced to reconnect and work together as a team. For the duration of the competition, the eight homes will be surrounded by the daunting wall with no way in or out. Each week, another family will be voted out of the game until one victorious group remains to claim the $250,000 grand prize.

Dog The Bounty Hunter Asks For Our Help

[singlepic id=96 w=200 h=120 float=left]Fans of A&E’s ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ have been captivated during the last three weeks, watching as Dog and his crew search in the Denver, Pueblo etc. CO area for Marco Padilla.

[singlepic id=99 w=100 h=180 float=left]As we saw tonight on the final part of this tense chase, while pretty much all the major players of his crime ring were caught by Dog and his team, Marco remained elusive and at one point Padilla contacted the press (dumbass).

Jon and Kate Plus 8 – Time to Call It Quits?

[singlepic id=77 w=320 h=240 float=left]On May 14, 2006, we were introduced to the Gosselin Family. We watched the hour long special which revolved around the daily routine of raising twins and sextuplets. The show was all about the children. Nearly one year later, the first episode of the reality show series aired. It was still all about the children, but through short clips of interviews with Jon and Kate, we slowly became aware of the parents’ personalities. Kate clearly wore the pants in the family while Jon appeared to be more passive in an attempt to keep things running smoothly in their home.
Three years later, the show has done a complete 180. Instead of it being all about the kids, it’s all about Jon and Kate. The kids are merely there for “filler” between solo interviews with either Jon or Kate, who discuss their failing marriage. Between the end of season 4, which aired at the end of March, and the beginning of season 5, which aired at the end of May, the media had a field day with the rumor that Jon was cheating on Kate with a 23 year old teacher. Shortly after this rumor started, there was a counter-rumor that Kate was having an affair with her bodyguard. Who really knows if either rumor is true, but clearly their marriage is in trouble. As a matter of fact, on May 27, 2009, Showbiz Tonight broke the news that allegedly TLC is helping Jon find an apartment that is “camera-ready” so they are able to film him in his new home.
The question seems to be this: Is it time for the show to call it quits? Have these children been scarred enough from having cameras in their little faces 2-3 times a week?

Hell’s Kitchen 5 Finale

[singlepic ID=66 h=190 w=130 float=left] Congrats to Danny Veltri on the Hell’s Kitchen 5 win!!

Hell’s Kitchen 5 had a good finish to the show… Paula DaSilva and Danny Veltri deserved to be there!! I, as a viewer, am over the moon because that makes 2 shows I felt this way about in 2 weeks TAR & HK!!!

Paula’s Red team consisted of Andrea, LA and Lacey. I felt bad for Paula because I do think Lacey was a drain on the team. I still find the return of Lacey to be a huge blunder on Chef Ramsey’s part that makes Hell’s Kitchen a joke. Danny’s Blue team consisted of Ben, Gio and Carol. I was worried about Danny after hearing Gio’s bitter talk but was glad to see him get the job done. I was also relieved to see that Carol did her part desite her hope that Pauls would be victorious.
