The first cancellation of the TV season is officially upon us. Effective immediately, CBS has canned and pulled any future episodes of MADE IN JERSEY from their schedule.
Somewhere Fox is smiling that they weren’t the first to make a move and send out a hit on The Mob Doctor. Now that CBS threw the ax first, one can only wonder if Fox isn’t far behind.
After just two weeks of rating numbers held in not so high regard in the CBS world, it was only a matter of time this news broke. Made in Jersey premiered to 7.7 million viewers a poor demo of 1.1 in the coveted 18-49 range. However, losing almost 2 million viewers and dropping to a 0.8 in the demo in its second week likely spurred this decision from the Eye. Starting THIS FRIDAY, CSI: NY moves back into the 9pm ET slot. The 8pm hour will be filled with various CBS procedural repeats (NCIS fills the slot this Friday). On November 2, Undercover Boss premieres it’s new season at 8pm ET followed by CSI: NY and Blue Bloods.
Are you sad to see this show go? Did you even know this was a Friday night option? Share your thoughts!
