Before Big Brother 15 premiered this summer, CBS announced a shift in primetime to accommodate what they promised to be the show’s biggest season yet. Well, take that schedule and toss it. CBS announced today that they will revert to the formula that fit the show for many seasons.
Starting July 10, CBS will air “Big Brother” at 8/7c on WEDNESDAY with the LIVE eviction moving to Thursdays at 9/8c. This will vacate the Tuesday slot currently held by Big Brother for NCIS: LA repeats. Sunday’s episode will remain unchanged and will continue to air at 8/7c.
After Big Brother 15’s first two episodes came in to lower numbers than last season, this may be CBS’s effort to shuffle it up. The first evicted houseguest will still leave July 3, as planned.
