If you ask me, they could have at least named the show “Three” just to make it look full of more substance, but I digress. CBS’s new dating show, 3, premieres Sunday July 29 and will feature 3 bachelorettes looking for love. Never anything like it on television before, I say. Oh wait ….
29 year old entrepreneur April Francis, 34 year old pharmaceutical rep Rachel Harley and 24 year old model Libby Lopez will meet each other for the first time and embark on a journey to find the love of their lives. CBS promises that emotions will run high as these women meet the country’s most eligible bachelors.
Per a CBS release, “3” is a new relationship series in which three single women of different ages, life experiences and backgrounds meet for the first time with a common goal – to find true love. During their journey, the women meet nearly 100 men before they begin to narrow down their suitors to find their perfect partner. As they search for love, they share their lives and emotionally support one another during the dating and decision-making process.
“3” was initially scheduled to premiere on July 22. CBS has shifted the premiere a week later to avoid competition with ABC’s The Bachelorette season finale, airing on a special Sunday night with a new LIVE component.

April Francis | Originally from Michigan, April Francis runs three businesses in Chicago. She launched a fashion service called Haute Closet, created the trendy Dose Market in Chicago which combines food and fashion, and consults for high-end spas. Although she is passionate about her career, April is a self-described “maternalist” and would give it all up for the opportunity to be a wife and mother.
Rachel Harley | When Rachel Harley was pregnant with her second child in 2010, she lost her husband, Kit, to brain cancer. While continuing to mourn his loss, the Chicago native has raised their children, Bradyn and Reese, continued working at a pharmaceutical company and became an organizer for Harley Helping Hands, a non-profit organization that has raised more than $250,000 for Chicago-area individuals battling brain cancer. She is ready to date again, but needs a partner who will respect that she is a widow with children.
Libby Lopez | Libby Lopez grew up on a ranch in Stockton, Calif., where she tended and participated in showing cattle. At the age of 12, Libby’s parents got divorced, which made her realize that she does not want to go through a divorce, nor does she want to end up in a loveless marriage. She has been modeling since she was 18-years-old and enjoys working both in front of and behind the camera. She was raised in the Baptist Church and her strong faith in God is a priority in her life. She will not date a man unless he shares her religious beliefs.
