Dancing With The Stars…….Who Made The Finals? (Spoiler)

Did you pick your jaw up off the floor yet? Yes, you’re reading this right, Bristol Palin will be dancing in the finals of Dancing With The Stars Season 11. Brandy and Maks were voted off tonight, and viewers at home weren’t the only one to gasp…..Derek Hough’s mouth hung open, Jennifer Grey seemed shell shocked….heck, even the uber exuberant Kyle Massey seemed taken aback as well. So what does this say about the show? IS this a show about dancing? Or is it about garnering enough viewer votes to get that trophy, even when consistently scored low by the judges…..professionals mind you. I’m not so sure at this point but take comfort Bristol detractors, all hope is not lost. IF Jennifer and Kyle bring it next week, and Bristol does her usual so-so, the deficit between them in judges scoring could be enough to give one of them the win over Ms. Palin. Sure, you’re saying “But she scores low every week”…….BUT think of it this way, there’s only 3 of them to split judges votes.

The tabulation of final scores on DWTS is done this way. Every week the cumulative amout of points the judges give overall is divided into the individual overall totals. Whatever that percentage is gets added to the percentage of viewer votes and voila, you have your final results.

For Bristol fans, congrats, gotta give it to you, you got your girl to the end. Congrats as well to those voting for her as a joke, I won’t name a particular site but I’m sure y’all can guess. Wink wink.
