David Beckham Gets Smacked In Latest Court Drama

Bauer Publishing Co., the parent company for entertainment magazine In Touch Weekly, has recently filed a motion in connection to the soccer star’s lawsuit. This lawsuit is regarding a story In Touch Weekly ran about Beckham supposedly having an affair with a high-priced hooker.

Court documents, which refer to Beckham as a “serial philanderer,” show how the magazine editors learned of his affair with call girl Irma Nici. This was done after conducting a three hour interview with her and collaborating those facts with multiple other sources. Quite obviously, Beckham has denied the affair.

The legal position of the publishers counters the argument Beckham made which said that news stories about him cheating on wife Victoria Beckham are not a matter of public interest. The magazine makes the argument, saying that Beckham made his life public by selling photos of himself and his wife in regards to their marriage for over one million Pounds. They go further by saying that Beckhams’ denial of the affair has never accompanied a claim by him that the information was published with malice.

Ironically, this court matter is scheduled for February 14th…Valentine’s Day. What do you think? Sound off below!
