Deadliest Catch’s Captain Keith Sucker Punched!

KOZI Radio, out of Chelan, Washington is reporting that a friendly dispute turned rather ugly on the streets recently when Captain Keith Colburn of the F/V Wizard, seen on Discovery Channel’s ‘Deadliest Catch’ was involved in a “sucker punch quarrel”. Apparently Keith and his brother Monte (aka ‘Mouse’) were on a promotional tour sponsored by a Northwest Beer Brewer last week when this incident happened.

According to the Chelan Fire and Rescue and Emergency Medical Services the incident took place outside of a local downtown bar called ‘Senor Frogs’. Keith was actually at an establishment next door to this bar when he had words with a “tourist” and the fight fell into the street outside the door of the Senor Frogs establishment. Colburn was taken to the hospital, but the injuries ended up being minor. There was no word on what actually caused this fight and whether or not Keith plans on pressing charges but the Yak sends out our thoughts to him.

    Oh that wasn’t very nice!  I respect Capt. Keith for his support of Derrick Ray and although he can be rather crusty and tends to back-bite, he has a good heart and I like that about him.

    He deserved to get punched. But he deserves to see the punch before it makes contact with his face.

    He deserves to get his fat butt slapped around. I lost all respect for him after he attacked that poor camera person on his boat. The camera guy had to take it. In the middle of the ocean, even if the captain is mentally disturbed, you”re in a no-win situation. This time, there was no unfair advantage and he got his melon bopped.
