Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan, possibly best known for performing as many as 10 procedures on Heidi Montag, was killed in a car crash August 16, when his Jeep plunged over the side of the Pacific Coast Highway.
Ryan’s former girlfriend Charmaine Blake offered new insight into what may have caused the crash, stating that the doctor was “sending a Twitter message about his border collie just before his fatal car accident.” The dog was in the car with Ryan during the crash and survived the accident. California Highway Patrol confirmed that Ryan had been texting prior to the fatal accident.
“He [Ryan] lived up in Malibu on a tiny street and he was texting while driving and he accidentally went over the cliff,” stated Blake.
Through it all, something the press isn’t writing about when remembering Dr. Frank Ryan, is the founding of the Non-Profit Organization to help the underprivileged and at-risk youth excel beyond their current situations. His “Bony Pony Ranch Foundation” created an atmosphere where “young people can maximize their talents and achieve new goals in life by being exposed to new role models and mentors who can provide a positive influence.”
Their website describes Bony Pony Ranch as being, “… the premiere California horse ranch.
