Fox Buys More ‘Hope’

Well, with the news of shows getting cancelled and put on production hiatus, Fox dolls out the first full-season pickup of the new TV season. Raising Hope, with help from it’s Glee lead-in I’m sure, has been pleasing the heads over at the network who cut Lone Star‘s life too early after just 2 episodes. Fox has ordered the back nine for it’s critically acclaimed freshman sitcom giving it a total of 22 episodes for the season. Reports from Fox claim that Raising Hope is #1new comedy among teens and young women and #2 new comedy among adults 18-34. Apparently, that’s enough for them to take pride and step up the game.

Hope is the first freshman show to receive a back nine order. Only Lone Star and My Generation have been canned and received opposite treatment so far this season.

Raising Hope airs Tuesdays at 9pm EST following Glee on Fox. What do you think, does this My Name is Earl-esque show appeal to you? Are you happy with this pick up? Disappointed? Let us know in our FORUMS or comment below!
