Married With Children. The X Files. Ally McBeal. American Idol. Glee. House. Between the past and present, FOX has given TV viewers a lot to talk about. Some good, some bad. 2012 finds the television network celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary. In true television network style, it’s time to make that kind of party into a televised event. What better way to do so than with cast reunions, as we take a look back at the last 25 years of broadcasting on the youngest of the “Big 4″ major networks in America.
Fox has just announced a 25th Anniversary Special that will air on April 22, 2012 at 8/7c on Fox. The special will undoubtedly take a look back at some of the network’s most iconic and defining shows, according to the network’s official press release, since the first signal transmission on April 5, 1987. According to Fox, talent scheduled to appear on FOX’s 25th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL include Calista Flockhart from “Ally McBeal”; Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley and Ian Ziering from “Beverly Hills, 90210”; Christina Applegate, David Faustino, Ed O’Neill and Katey Sagal from “Married With Children”; Patrick Warburton from “The Tick”; and Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny and creator Chris Carter from “The X-Files.”
