Fox Pulls “Ben & Kate” From Schedule, Plus “Hope” Doubles Up & “Hell’s Kitchen” Premiere Date

Fox-logoJust one day after ABC announced that “Don’t Trust The B In Apt 23″ will be pulled off of their schedule indefinitely, Fox is the next network to make a change with a struggling Tuesday night comedy. Freshman sitcom “Ben and Kate” will be pulled from Fox Tuesdays effective immediately.

The Alphabet net has no plans to currently air the remaining episodes of “Apt. 23.” As for “Ben and Kate,” Fox has not made any remarks regarding the future of the show. When a struggling comedy is pulled from the schedule in such a manner, it doesn’t look promising. The show had a very small, but faithful, following. The network stuck it out this long and there likely wasn’t enough growth in viewership.

ABC will air double episodes of “Happy Endings” at 9/8c on Tuesdays, starting Jan 29. Fox, on the other hand, will air back-to-back episodes of “Raising Hope” at 8/7c on Tuesdays starting Jan 29, as well. A one-hour season finale for “Raising Hope” will air March 28 at 9/8c after “American Idol”. On March 3, “Hell’s Kitchen” will take control of the time slot, kicking off Tuesdays for Fox.
