The internet world is about to explode. Brace yourselves. One of televisions biggest hits just took the news world by storm. As broken by TVLine.com, Glee is going Bieber. The episode, scheduled to air February 15, will feature the cast covering several of the teen idol’s songs. Bieber will somehow figure into the plot, but there is no indication that he will actually appear. At least, not yet. Fox’s mega-hit is looking to take February by storm. In addition to the Bieber-sode, the show kicks off sweeps with their highly anticipated post-Superbowl episode followed closely by their Valentine’s Day themed show.
Now, we get that Glee is a show that takes place in a high school and that it caters towards the younger demographics, but can you really have an episode dedicated to a “career” like Bieber’s? Moreso, even Glee’s demographics are older than Bieber’s fan base. Even that’s gotta say something. Glee has gotten flack from their recent influx of tribute episodes and it’s almost guaranteed this may not be met with huge support by a number of it’s fans. Thoughts on this merger? Is Glee jumping the shark with this episode? Hit the comments below and join us in our FORUMS to discuss!
