Hell’s Kitchen 5 Finale

Congrats to Danny Veltri on the Hell’s Kitchen 5 win!!

Hell’s Kitchen 5 had a good finish to the show… Paula DaSilva and Danny Veltri deserved to be there!! I, as a viewer, am over the moon because that makes 2 shows I felt this way about in 2 weeks TAR & HK!!!

Paula’s Red team consisted of Andrea, LA and Lacey. I felt bad for Paula because I do think Lacey was a drain on the team. I still find the return of Lacey to be a huge blunder on Chef Ramsey’s part that makes Hell’s Kitchen a joke. Danny’s Blue team consisted of Ben, Gio and Carol. I was worried about Danny after hearing Gio’s bitter talk but was glad to see him get the job done. I was also relieved to see that Carol did her part desite her hope that Pauls would be victorious.

The resturant designs were very different and personally I liked Paula’s better. I felt it was a more inviting and upbeat area. Danny’s made me think he is looking to cover up mistakes that fell on the floor and the name The Velvet Hammer…Ben said it best with his comment about it sounding like a porn place!! I thought it was nice to see Ben and Andrea share a laugh!!

Season 5 held the most resentful return of contestants and the fact they seemed to think that they got screwed..can’t help but wonder what they will think after seeing how stupid some look ranting on the shows this season…oh to be a fly on the wall!!

FOX is moving forward with the announcement that Hell’s Kitchen 6 will join the summer line-up with a 2 hour premiere on Tuesday, July 21 and will be seen in a regular slot on Tuesday’s.
