Get ready for more Barney Stinson and friends! CBS announced today that How I Met Your Mother has officially been renewed for two more seasons. Will we ever learn who the mother is? Will we see the impending slap Marshall owes Barney? Will Robin and Ted ever get back togather? I guess we have more time to find out!
In fact, according to the ratings, HIMYM has stayed pretty steady, if not growing in viewers for it’s entire run. According to President of CBS Nina Tassler, “We are so proud of this show and all of its creative and ratings achievements. HIMYM‘s brilliant producing team continues to find inventive ways to tell funny stories that stir pop-culture conversation; it has become a go-to destination for top guest stars, and its amazing ensemble cast brings to life characters that audiences want to hang out with every Monday night.”
The entire cast has also signed on for the two more seasons as well.
