It’s Official: Big Brother 13, Summer ’11

Confirming our recent speculation, CBS has announced today that Big Brother will return in the summer of 2011 for it’s lucky 13th season. The announcement comes just hours before Big Brother 12 comes to an end with Enzo, Lane, and Hayden battling it out as the final 3 for the $500,000. Big Brother‘s ratings have reportedly gone up this summer, making the suits at CBS happy. Jennifer Bresnan, executive vice president, alternative programming said in a released statement that “Big Brother is our summer hero. Every year, our producers deliver innovative twists and turns, consistently evolving this proven franchise and engaging one of the most loyal and interactive fan bases on television and online.” Happy about the news?
