Well, would you look at that? With JLo hitting the small screen as the newest American Idol judge, it seems pretty coincidental that not one but TWO singles rumored to be on her next studio album have leaked to the interwebs. Not long after Ryan Seacrest tweeted “JLo just sent me the full & final version of her new song “On The Floor” – it’s HOT. World premiere early next week!” wouldn’t you know the single was leaked? “On The Floor” (featuring Pitbull and samples Kaoma’s “Lambada”) is rumored to be a part of her next album, “Love?” The second leaked single, “Venus” will be used in a commercial for Gillette Venus razor. No word yet on whether or not it will be featured on her new album as well. J.Lo is already receiving flack for “On The Floor” since it makes many references to the club and critics are thinking she’s too old to be referencing that anymore. Do you agree?
Now, “Love?” has had its fair share of drama. Originally scheduled for released in January 2010, the debut was pushed back to April 2010 and then the summer of 2010. Well, we’re in 2011 and the album has yet to be released, however, plans are for an early 2011 release once and for all. After releasing “Louboutins” in late 2009, JLo has been working on a comeback to the main stage. Now that she has the Idol platform, it just may happen. Or will it? Check out J.Lo’s singles “On The Floor” and “Venus” below, as well as a short clip from her newest music video for “Good Hit.” Timely releases just days before American Idol’s 10th season premieres with her behind the judge’s table, wouldn’t you think?
