Let’s Yakkity Yak! May 10th, 2010. An Open Letter to Carol and Brandy of The Amazing Race 16, And Congratulations to Dan and Jordan For Winning!

Welcome back, didja miss me? Anyways, here we are again, with Let’s Yakkity Yak! And this is a special edition because I’m so disgusted by one thing I saw on last night’s finale and also so pleased with another part so I have to devote my column to just that. Alright, so let’s start with the fun stuff. Congratulations to brothers Dan and Jordan for being the winners of The Amazing Race 16!!! Sure, they were somewhat annoying here and there throughout the race, but they were true fans of the race and ran it well, deserving the win. In fact, this is the first season where I’ve liked all three teams at the end, so I didn’t mind who won. But I know that the brothers have watched every season and love this show so it’s great to see them fully realize their dream. Yes, I was a Jeff and Jordan fan and still am, love them! But aside from them, am glad to see who won the whole thing. It was truly awesome to see that they’d written down all the eliminations and non-eliminations from the season in anticipation of that last challenge. So smart and that’s what got them the win I believe. So way to go guys!

Alright, down to the nastiness and I’ve written about them before but I can’t stand these two bitches. Yup, Carol and Brandy. Yeah, bite me scags.  Here’s their deal. A couple of legs back from the finale, Brent and Caite used a U-Turn on them. Carol and Brandy had been nothing but mean to pretty much everyone on the race and particularly brutal towards Caite, mocking her for her messed up beauty pageant question and answer. They are simply ugly people with ugly souls. Plus, they weren’t half bad at the race, so naturally Brent and Caite used the U-Turn on them. Instead of viewing this as a challenge and a chance to show their worth, they were bitter from that point out. Blaming their loss not on themselves but solely on Brent/Caite. They never thought that being nasty might not exactly endear themselves to the other teams. Fast forward to the finale of the race.

Dan and Jordan come in as winners, Carol and Brandy were excited obviously. Even more when the cowboys came in. When Brent/Caite came in  one of them didnt’ clap at all, the other clapping sarcastically. When Phil commended Caite on being the lone female to the end they rolled their eyes. When Phil asked what she wanted to prove, Caite that is, she stated to show that she wasn’t as dumb as everyone thought. More eye rolls. Phil then asked Caite about Carol and Brandy. Caite turned to them and presumably was going to apologize but Bitter Bitch #1 interrupted her immediately, saying she didnt’ want to hear it, blah blah blah. Caite, my girl, stood her ground and said obviously she did know what she was doing because she was at the end and they weren’t. Then bitter bitches got cut off, thank god.

So, to Carol and Brandy, you two are the most ugly pieces of crap I’ve ever come across in reality TV. You rank right up there with Natalie Martinez from Big Brother 11 in the disgusting factor. You are bitter, evil, truly awful! My god, you are the poor sports of all time! You could be the capital of Poorsportsville. As Caite, who bested you by the way, she BEAT YOUR ASS, said best……learn to be nicer to people. Or crawl back under your bitter bitch rock. Good god in heaven.
