From the small screen to the big screen, Josh Holloway is officially confirmed for his first post-Lost role. And it’s huge. Looks like surviving the smoke monster and the island wasn’t impossible enough for him. Holloway will be joining the Impossible Mission Force spear-headed by Tom Cruise himself. Produced by J.J. Abrams, Mission: Impossible 4 is bound to be another hit movie to the franchise. No details about Holloway’s role have been given, but it is confirmed that he will definitely be in the mix. Release is slated for December 2011 and production is now scouting sites in Vancouver, Dubai, and Prague for filming. M:I-4 will also star Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker and The Town), Paula Patton (Precious), Vladamir Mashkov (Behind Enemy Lines), and vets Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.
