NBC has pulled the plug after a very intense promotion campaign for its latest reality venture – “Ready For Love.” After using the plump, post “Voice” spot, the Eva Longoria reality show did not pull in numbers to boast about by any means. In fact, the show lost a wide margin of its lead in audience from “The Voice.”
Effective immediately, the show has been yanked from NBC’s primetime schedule. Starting April 30, “Grimm” will move to Tuesdays at 10/9c, following a special, previously schedule two-hour “The Voice.” “Grimm” will stay on Tuesdays until it’s new season finale air date of May 21.
Starting Friday, April 26, Dateline will fill the 9/8c timeslot on Fridays, vacated by Grimm’s move.
No word on how the rest of the Tuesday night landscape will look with one-hour installments of “The Voice,” but don’t expect “Smash” moving back to Tuesdays, unfortunately. We’ll keep you updated when NBC announces future plans. At the moment, there are no plans to air the remaining “Ready for Love” episodes.
