After breaking the news yesterday (click HERE for the report) that NBC has ordered full-season orders for 3 freshman programs (Outsourced, Law & Order: LA, and The Event), we report that the Peacock continued to dish out their orders today. The Nerd Herd will be around for a full season! Chuck, currently in its 4th season, has received an order for the back 11 episodes, bringing it to a 24 episode season (Awesome!). Joining Chuck with the news today is freshman drama Chase, which has seemed to struggle finding sure footing this season. Nevertheless, Chase will be around for a full season after receiving a back nine order, per a tweet from show runner Jonathan Littman “#Chase=back 9.” Of NBC’s new programming this season, Undercovers is the only one that has yet to receive a verdict one way or the other; however, the network has ordered an addition 4 scripts for the show. Production on Outlaw was shut down and the show was subsequently cancelled earlier this season.
Happy about these pickups? Surprised that almost all of NBC’s newbies has survived? A sign the network is that desperate or just that successful? Let us know below in our comment section and join our FORUMS to discuss the news!
