And another one bites the dust. This one not so surprising. As we recently reported (click HERE to read the report), NBC’s Outlaw was placed on “temporary” production hiatus last week. That hiatus all but spelled cancellation and now it is official. NBC has officially pulled the plug on its latest courtroom drama starring Jimmy Smits. The show never really found its footing this season, even after NBC gave a premiere sneak preview on a not-so-busy Wednesday at the start of the new fall season before moving the show to its Friday night slot.
Outlaw joins Lone Star (Fox) and My Generation (ABC) at this season’s TV graveyard. The final 4 episodes already produced will air Saturdays at 8PM EST/7PM CST on NBC, beginning October 16. A second hour of Dateline will replace Outlaw’s original time slot at 10pm EST on Fridays. Are you bummed by this news? Did you expect it? Gonna miss Jimmy Smits on TV?
