Well, May upfronts started today! I’m a big TV nerd, so this is the time of the year I keep up with news like my life depended on it. Some things make me happy about this and some don’t (read: CBS, watch your back!). More on all that later. FOX presented their upcoming schedule and I think this might be one of the few times FOX might be competitive before Idol kicks off! Check below to see what’s around, what’s gone, and what’s new!Details
If you’re anything like me, summertime is the season to be lazy! Granted, those of us with lives might not be able to spend our summers indoors watching network TV, but here’s a guide if you don’t fall into the “with-a-life” category! Delve in below to see what the networks have cooking for us this summer … Feel free to join the discussion in our FORUMS!Details
Yes, I know I am late on this… but with all the hubbub of moving down to the final 2, Gokey leaving, and my other annoyances with the whole shebang, I completely let something slip from my mind, only to have it pop up again in my little brain today… and all I have to say is… WTF American Idol?Details
Hell’s Kitchen 5 had a good finish to the show… Paula DaSilva and Danny Veltri deserved to be there!! I, as a viewer, am over the moon because that makes 2 shows I felt this way about in 2 weeks TAR & HK!!!
Paula’s Red team consisted of Andrea, LA and Lacey. I felt bad for Paula because I do think Lacey was a drain on the team. I still find the return of Lacey to be a huge blunder on Chef Ramsey’s part that makes Hell’s Kitchen a joke. Danny’s Blue team consisted of Ben, Gio and Carol. I was worried about Danny after hearing Gio’s bitter talk but was glad to see him get the job done. I was also relieved to see that Carol did her part desite her hope that Pauls would be victorious.Details
The end is near, yet again, and another season of LOST is about to draw to a close. Nine long months of speculation and waiting for the last season. But with the end of the season the everso predictable bloodlust of Darlton has sprung it’s ugly head, as it does at the close of every season. What is it with this death hunger they feel the need to feed? They already took Faraday from us, why have another beloved character enter the LOST graveyard as well? At one point they explained that it would be unbelievable to have a show like LOST with NO deaths but dear god in heaven, when is enough enough?
Here are the facts, or rather, fact. A major, much beloved character WILL die in the Season Five finale, they’ve already told us this. And from what I’ve read on various spoiler sites, the impact it will leave on most fans emotionally will be right up there with the gut-wrenching emotions a lot of fans had when Charlie (still miss and adore you Dom!) died at the end of Season 3. So I thought I’d take a moment and analyze each major character’s likelihood of meeting the Grim Reaper on tomorrow night’s episode.Details
OK all….I have decided to share my newly found irritation with the rest of you. I understand that commercials are here to serve a purpose, to raise revenue, create jobs, etc. Now, here is my issue.. I hate being held captive by these creations when they are stupid, asinine, or play on peoples fears. My first installment of most annoying commercial is the latter. It attempts to strike a fear in us so deep that we will be paralyzed by it until we call their number, purchase their product, and line their pockets. Then, and ONLY then, will we have peace in our homes forever…puuuuhleeeeease.
This weeks’ gem is brought to you by Brinks Home Security….who’s only interest is in our complete safety.
Well folks, it’s over. Another season of The Amazing Race has come and gone and with it, we have winners! Tammy and Victor Jih, siblings from San Francisco and Los Angeles, California were declared the winners of The Amazing Race 14 after crossing the finish line first, naturally. All three of the final three teams had been bunched up at the final roadblock, the surfboard fence, where each person had to remember events from each leg, find a surfboard with the correct symbols and put them in the right order. Luke and Margie, mother and son, had been ahead at this challenge, arriving first and Luke having correctly placed the first 9 of 11 boards, but became caught on the last two. Cheerleaders and friends, Jaime and Cara caught up with the other two teams, and in the end their team and Luke and Margie helped each other to finish but ultimately Tammy and Victor finished first, got a lucky cab and claimed the one million dollars.
In my opinion this has been one of the better seasons of the reality season, in the fact that I didn’t dislike any of the last three teams and was happy with whoever won. My personal preference as a sentimental favorite was Margie and Luke, but I liked all three. But let’s take a look back at all the teams and some thoughts from our forum members on the season as a whole.Details
If you don’t wanted to be spoiled STOP READING RIGHT NOW. SERIOUSLY, stop reading. This doesn’t reveal the winner but could lead to some speculation on it.
So, what does this mean?Details

Here we are in May and we’ve already lost too many celebrities. While we are aware that we get older every year, it seems that we tend to forget that the celebrities we grew up watching age, as well. It’s likely that we remember them at the age that we last saw them, so at first thought, we’re shocked that they’ve passed. It’s very sad that their lives came to an end, but for most of them, they lived a long, successful life and passed on knowing that through the years they’ve entertained millions of people.
These are the people that we’ve lost in 2009:
And so another summer is apporaching, which for all you reality tv fans means one thing…..IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR BIG BROTHER!!!! With the excitement building and Yakkity Yaks ramping up for our inaugural Big Brother season, we thought as staff we’d reveal the changes we’d like to see on Big Brother 11. Not that they’re likely to happen BUT as die hard fans/live feed updaters/ Big Brother net nerds, we are truly devoted viewers who have seen what we thought worked and definitely didn’t work.
