It’s been 10 years since ‘The Blair Witch Project’, a small, independent film made with handheld cameras terrorized moviegoers and made a fortune for the moviemakers. And now we have ‘Paranormal Activity’! Made for a paltry 15 thousand dollars, this lovely little gem tells the story of a suburban couple who become terrifed about the demonic phenomena that they capture on home-security cameras.
This article writer hasn’t seen it yet, but from this trailer alone it scared the living hell out of her! And from all the reviews, if you can handle the suspense, it’s totally worth seeing! JUST DON’T GO ALONE, LOL!
Since it’s release, it’s pulled in 62.5 MILLION dollars. That’s millions, folks. Basically, when you break it down, it’s made a profit of 4,166.666666%!!! That’s astronomical compared to what other movies pull in, even those with bigger numbers b/c you have to take into account what it cost for the big budget movies to be made!
