Parvati Shallow, winner of Survivor Micronesia and runner-up of Heroes vs. Villains, is following in the footsteps of Big Brother 11’s Jeff Schroeder. She’ll be the next CBS reality star traveling “Around The World For Free,” which starts July 5. The series will continue to air on CBS.com, as it did last summer. Parvati sat down and had a chat with EW and mentioned that “this is my dream come true from the day I was born. I’m moving in a new direction and I’m pretty much closing the book on Survivor, but I’m taking those lessons that I learned from that experience with me as I move forward and take on this new challenge.” She went on to explain how her season will be more tough and rough than Jeff’s. It will be “much more focused on adventure, culture, meeting people in more remote places. I know Jeff kind of trekked around big cities, and I want to be in the jungle, in more uncomfortable places where people aren’t given all the comforts that we have in America. I want to experience life.”
Parvati didn’t stop there. She went on to say how she’s not a fan of Big Brother, which can’t sit well with many fans as we gear up for Big Brother 13 to start! “I never watched Jeff on Big Brother. Big Brother to me, I find it to be a little less than exciting,” she said.
Excited to see Parvati travel around the world? Will you be watching in spite of her BB dig?
