Possible Big Brother 11 Twist Leak – Houseguests Have to Earn Prize Money?

Thank you to YakkityYaks forum member Alex336 for giving us this juicy tidbit……..this is unconfirmed, so take it with a grain of salt…..BUT…. there’s a possibility of a new, VERY interesting twist to this years’ Big Brother game. You can read the post here but according to a source our member Alex knows the twist this year is that the houseguests are going to be told going in that there is ZERO prize money………yes, you heard me right, ZERO prize money…….

CBS is supposedly making all of their shows cut back on the budget, due to the economy, etc. etc. So now, instead of it being a guaranteed $500K in the end, the houseguests will be forced to earn this prize money. We weren’t able to find out if that means they have to go without certain things in the house, the source our member has didn’t know that much but our speculation, if this turns out to be true is many different things. My personal guess would be they earn it through challenges, etc.

And IF this is true, it would throw a HUGE monkey wrench in the “let’s get rid of the best competitors first” typical strategy and also get rid of the weaker competitors strategy of marketing themselves as ones to keep around as they’d be easy to beat in the end. If they suck at comps, then what good would they be? This would force the players to actually physically play the game and best of all, weed out all the fame seeking wannabes…….

So, do you think this could be the “twist” to the season? We don’t know, again we couldn’t confirm this BUT one thing’s for sure…….if it is, it’s one of the better ones they’ve thought up in a LONG time…..
