Project Runway All-stars – It’s Christmas time for the designers!!

Firstly, before I start this recap, thank-you for reading. I have been inconsistent with these recaps, and even though I really enjoy them, finding the time at the moment has been hard. However, I am back now, and even I don’t plan on slacking in anyway shape or form from now on!

So, we are down to the final 7 of this all-stars season and it is finally time for the unconventional challenge! This year the challenge has a Christmas twist for us all to enjoy. The sparkles and embellishments get free reign over the designers here. We also find out that the winner of this challenge gets a watch. A watch, which I assume is very expensive, taking the designers faces. More importantly, the amazing Kylie Minogue is a guest judge. Which is hella awesome!!

The designers all get there Christmas ornaments and fabrics and head on back to the workroom. Casanova keeps redoing designs, Emilio seems ready to stab his design, Uli and Anthonys’ designs are very similar and Ivy seems to be dressing an old lady.

Runway Show

Now, this week, for my judging we have an ‘Under-rated’ look, a ‘fashion faux-pas’ and a ‘Judges get it right’!

Under-rated, Casanova. I think he has been under-rated this whole season, this challenge maybe not so much, but I definitely don’t think this look should have got him eliminated! That darn Ivy ¬.¬

Fashion faux-pas, Ivy. Too be honest, I cant seem to like any of her looks, and to me this one was just another failure. It wasn’t fashionable and it just looked old.

Judges get it right, Uli. She is building week to week, and this look was great! However, she does need to do something new, try some pants or a jacket, the look could be getting old.

Now the judges judging, Anthony, Uli and Laura were in the top, and I assume it was very tight between Anthony and Uli, but Uli pulled out the win. Joshua, Ivy and Casanova were the bottom 3, and after Joshua was safe, the two best friends were in the bottom 2! Then Casanova was subsequently eliminated! Personally, I thought this was a stupid thing to happen. He hasn’t done a bad design in my opinion, and he was my favorite from early on.

In my table, Uli is slowly catching Anthony, and Joshua is really trailing behind. Ivy is really not proved herself to me… but I’m not a judge… yet ;)

Once again, thanks for reading, and any opinions on the recap and on the final 6 are greatly encouraged! Hope you are enjoying this season.

Much Love

Luke
