Randy Jackson – Simon’s Spirit Lives!

Randy Jackson is supposedly picking up the slack on this year’s audition tour, being a lot more blunt, and shutting down the nutty. Sources say that he hasn’t totally let go of his chill ways, but that someone has to play the bad guy this year, with Simon no longer at the helm of criticism.

Even Ryan Seacrest, on his morning radio show on KIIS-FM said that “He’s the one to shut it down the most.”

It has been promised that judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez were also going to bring the “tough love” this season, but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
