Recap: Live-feed mini Yakdate, Mon. July 26

Monday, Monday brings us a new day. Will we get the Monday blues in the Big Brother house?

Everytime I see Rachel wearing one of those short dresses, she reminds me of the hooker who always runs from the cops on Law and Order: SVU. ~ Kristin

Early on Monday, Britney, Ragan and Matt were in the HOH room discussing who to keep. Britney seems to really want Andrew out of the house because he is a stronger competitor than Kathy. Of course Matt is still on his train that Kathy is another vote for Brendon and Rachel and he wants to get her out as soon as he can. Apparently the house is feeling closer to Rachel, which is why Brendon is now the bigger target out of the two of them. Houseguests fell asleep around 230am BBT.

This morning, after Rachel and Brendon woke up, she made a comment that her plan would be to put up Kristen and Lane (with Hayden as Veto replacement) should she win HOH again. Of course, she didn’t qualify it with winning HOH again, she just assumed. The rest of the houseguests were given their wakeup call around 9am BBT. My advice is that Rachel needs keep her head in Brendon’s crotch, because that seems to be the only thing in this game that she’s good at. ~ Kristin

Kathy mentioned again why she needs to be in the BB house, but she can’t say exactly why. Makes us here wonder what exactly it is…can she not come up with a lie or is there some reason she just “needs” to be there, other than the money? It seems that by Kathy telling Lane that Brendon will vote for Andrew to stay (even though he said he’s unsure, she made that part up), the Brigade is now questioning getting rid of Andrew instead of Kathy. Lane and Enzo then come up with the idea to try and get Brendon to use the POV, making him think that someone strong will get backdoored. Then Rachel is really put up and she’s voted out. Lots of game talk actually continues with suspicions that Andrew might be in an alliance with Brendon/Rachel and maybe he needs to be the one to leave, as well as who Kathy might put up should she stay in the house.

Around 1140am BBT, POV ceremony was called. Brendon chose NOT to use the veto and Andrew & Kathy both stayed on the block. Andrew apparently said, “I’m coming after you and Rachel. Please use the POV on me” in his speech. As if we all would have doubted, apparently that made Rachel very angry during the ceremony. Andrew’s speech now has the houseguests confused on who to actually vote out of the house. Many are saying that was real clever on his part! Matt seems to really want Andrew to stay, so he has been encouraging him to go around and campaign without throwing Kathy under the bus. They’re not sure why Kathy has taken this new twist on her campaigning to stay. Kathy thinks that the speech was all an act, as was Rachel’s reaction. On the flip side, it seems as if Ragan wants Kathy to stay – encouraging her to go and talk about how she puts her life on the line everyday on her job, etc. With Ragan and Matt wanting different people to stay, they sure are a crazy tandem to be working together in this house.

It seems as if Andrew told Rachel to not over play it (or that she overplayed it) leading us to think that he might actually be working with them and is on their side. Interesting speech to make it seem otherwise, though. As the houseguests keep with the theme to over-analyze everything, Kathy starts to wonder now if Matt is with Brendon and Rachel, too. Meanwhile, Brendon and Rachel got into a little tiff about Brendon wanting to keep Andrew and Rachel being confused about why he said that about them in his speech. She was about to talk to Kathy before she decided to leave and go lie down on the hammock before saying something she will regret.

Ragan and Lane discuss how it doesn’t make any sense to keep Andrew in the house anymore. It looks as if things have really flipped since Andrew’s veto speech! People believe that he was put up to it by Rachel and Brendon. Little do they know that only Andrew and Brendon knew about it beforehand. And of course the night continued on as we would expect….boredom and the same old “strategy talk” from earlier. And with that, I leave you all with a question? When will something of worth happen in this house? And I don’t mean when Brendon & Rachel will do the nasty deed…
