Recap: Live-feed mini Yakdate, Sun. Aug 8

Someone needs to tie Matt’s hand to his neck and see if he can go without sticking it in his pants. That’s just gross. ~ Grandmamichelf

Rachel and Brendon discussed his “alliances” after she’s evicted. They think he has Enzo for sure, maybe Britney. Brendon thinks Hayden is on his side, but Rachel’s not so sure about that. Not much else happened around the house before all the houseguests decided to go to bed.

The morning didn’t bring much to the HGs either. They were able to sleep in until about 1030am BBT. Rachel and Kathy had a very awkward moment together at the table. Rachel continued her campaign of “why me?” thinking that she’s been fighting every day from Day 1 (and apparently no one else has). Matt told her that the other (Bren/Rach) probably won’t be targeted as much after one of them leave because they’ll be less of a threat broken up. It doesn’t seem Rachel was willing to listen to Matt explain that it’s not personal. Rachel is really taking this all personally and it’s going to take more than a conversation to convince her otherwise….Sorry, editor’s note. As camera’s all focus on Rachel under the covers crying … I’m waiting for her to peek out from under the blanket to make sure the camera is on her. ~ Kristin

Early in the afternoon, the houseguests received a message from the Saboteur hinting at evicting Brendon and keeping Rachel instead. This sparked conversation among the houseguests as to who the Saboteur could be (some are thinking Rachel). The houseguests wondered who makes up the Saboteur messages. Matt and Ragan discuss the possibility that it is Rachel because she targeted someone else (while she’s on the block). Matt asked Ragan a question as if he were the saboteur…Little does he know!

And, per Big Brother norm, not very much else happened during the afternoon/evening worth noting. How’s that for a surprise?

Time to watch Matt and Rachel work out. Seems to be the most exciting thing going on tonight. Or do you care for some Britney/Hayden play time? Take your pick.

The night went on with general chit-chat, conversation, people playing pool, sharing stories, etc. (see the hilarious screencaps here)

Later on, Rachel gives her speech to Britney again, comparing the nominations to her and her fiance (Nick). Rachel offers her the money she won in POV to take Brendon off the block. Britney will NOT use the veto because it’s like signing her own death warrant, she says. No matter what, one of them is going home in the house’s eyes.
