Recap: Live-feed mini Yakdate, Tues. July 27

Another day in the Big Brother house. You know the drill…Just as a reminder, these recaps include spoilers that the CBS shows might not have shown yet. They’re based on the live feeds. That said, dive in and join our updaters, too!

As you can tell from our quotes, Yakksters are totally in love with Rachel. And some of them just can’t hide it. The houseguests ended their night with general chit chat before going to bed. Big Brother woke the houseguests up around 9am BBT and of course nothing exciting went on around then. If y’all ever wanted to know what The Real World would be like if they were all on sedatives…..this is it. ~ Ahrean Here at the Yak, the most exciting part of our day was counting the number of “likes” Rachel uses. There really was nothing else to pay attention to. Allison Grodner, SAVE THIS SHOW NOW!! Just a small plea from us little people.

Kathy and Andrew spent a little bit of time discussing the votes. Kathy seems to think that Andrew actually has the votes to stay and that Kristen is gunning for Kathy to leave. Andrew said that he’s just going to let people vote how they vote. As the morning went on, nothing but small talk happened around the BB house, discussing movies, cell phones, etc…

Kathy is like one of those yappy little dogs that run around your ankles and you can’t get rid of. Her howl is just as annoying, she waits by the door waiting for it to be opened, she circles her spot and then plops down for hours, and she eats everyone’s leftovers. ~ Kristin

Andrew and Britney discuss game on the hammock early in the afternoon. Andrew tells her that she is Kathy’s target and that he is going after Brendon/Rachel if he stays in this house…doing what he can to get her vote to stay! Britney tells him that she trusts his personality (whatever that means). Britney encourages Andrew to go and talk to people, that he may have a chance. Breaking news: The have-nots got Arrowroot baby cookies this week, as well! Britney tells Kathy that Andrew told her that Kathy wanted her out, asking her if it’s true. Kathy says “of course not” and is pissed that Andrew is throwing her under the infamous bus. Kathy wants to go and confront Andrew, but Britney is telling her not to do it, to just forget it. (Ed: If she wanted Kathy to “just forget it” why tell her in the first place?)

Kathy and Andrew were discussing that Andrew thinks he’s safe when he really isn’t. Matt has been essentially lying to him that he’ll be OK. Andrew and Matt discuss the possibility of him staying and Andrew promises to expose “them.” He’s not saying who “them” is. He doesn’t want to expose without knowing for sure, but he’s on to something. Matt, of course, is trying to get him to expose the information, but Andrew is much smarter and keeping it secret for now, making Matt wonder what it is. Andrew told Matt that if he’s still here Thursday, he will go straight to Matt and share the information. Matt told him that his curiosity is peaked now and wants to know, but Andrew is no idiot. He knows that Matt could take the information, vote him out and keep it to himself.

It looks like Rachel and Brendon are finally getting to the couple troubles point. Lots of arguing lately and Rachel thinking he’s not over his ex. Brendon seems to still be falling for her and wanting to talk about life out of the house and Rachel keeps brushing him off, saying “Let’s talk about this later.” Cold shoulder, ouch! Brendon told her that he loves her and thinks that she’s more important than the game. He’s quickly going downhill and will be out of the house soon if he doesn’t wake the eff up. In other news, Matt & Lane are worried because Hayden mentioned that he will use the Veto to save Kristen if she and Lane are on the block together.

As the day ended, Matt told the Brigade about Andrew’s offer and how Andrew won’t say a word until Friday to ensure his safety. Rachel told Britney that Kristen is her and Brendon’s next target because she is a smart girl. It seems as if Rachel and Britney will be working together now, go figure. Rachel threw in a lie to Britney that Kathy and “someone else” were talking bad about her. She said that “someone else” was Kristen, when it really was Brendon, since Brendon doesn’t really like Britney.
