Russell Hantz, Survivor-Samoa’s Likeable Villian, Could He Be The Best Survivor Contestant Ever?

When the 19th installment of Survivor, Survivor: Samoa premiered, Russell Hantz, of Foa Foa, was poised to be the biggest and most hated villian  in Survivor history. He was poised to surpass Johnny Fairplay, Richard Hatch, “Coach”, Tyson and others as being the most hated contestant in the entire series. (Join us in our forum to discuss!)

Throughout the weeks, while he has continued his cocky ways and general prickliness, he has also showed at least this article writer one thing missing from most other “villians”. This man KNOWS HIS STUFF when it comes to Survivor. He knows how to manipulate the minds of others but even moreso, he’s thought two steps ahead the entire way through the game, even up to becoming the first Survivor contestant ever to find the hidden Immunity Idol without ONE SINGLE CLUE. And even better, not just cone, but TWICE. AND on the November 19th episode it’s put back into play, leaving viewers breathlessly wondering…………could he find it a third time?

His ability to roll with the punches, his ability to adjust his game when the chips are up or down for him, his ability to outthink his fellow conetstants and oh so many more reasons why, if he makes it to the end he’d be the best player ever in the history of Survivor. And if he does make it to the end and that jury DOESN’T give this game to him, then it goes to show that whoever doesn’t vote for him not only isn’t voting based on game, but are voting based on personal feelings.

Russell Hantz has outplayed his fellow contestants, and he’s CERTAINLY outwitted them. Question is, will he be able to outlast them?
