Fans of the ABC Political drama ‘Scandal’ and the “Alien in the suburbs” series ‘The Neighbors’ will be happy today. ABC has decided to pick up both new series, adding 9 new episodes to the former and picking up the latter amid high debut numbers.
NBC’s ‘Up All Night’ starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph is getting a makeover. The show, originally shot in a one camera format (ala Modern Family) will change over to multi-camera format (like traditional comedies ie. The Big Bang Theory) when it comes back this Winter. It will play out it’s already filmed one camera aspect in December and go with the more traditional style when it returns in February. The idea came from Lorne Michaels himself after seeing Applegate and Arnett perform a skit in the multi-camera format on SNL. Will it work to being the show more life? That remains so be seen.
