Something very close to my heart

A very good friend of mine has a young daughter with Leukemia.  On Sunday, August 9th, from 8am – 1pm, there will be a bone marrow drive in her honor at American Martyrs in Manhattan Beach California.

There will be another drive in her honor at the end of August at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills.

If you are in the neighborhood, or plan to be, PLEASE consider becoming a donor.

Now I know most of you do not live in the vicinity at all, but you can still help. You can go to the National Marrow Donor Program, and register, wherever you may be. Donating Marrow isn’t what it used to be, and is not nearly as invasive as it once was (not as painful)… please check it out.
