Steven Tyler to Exit As Judge of American Idol

Steven Tyler is leaving his post as judge on American Idol.

Steven Tyler, judge of two seasons of American Idol has decided to leave the show and instead focus his energy on his music, including the release of Aerosmith’s newest album “Music from Another Dimension” due out this Fall.

In a statement released by fox, “Steven has been a terrific judge….we are very sad that he has chosen to focus more on his music, but we always knew when we hired a rock ‘n’ roll legend, he would go back to the music.”
