Sundance Report: Katie Holmes NOT Happy

Remember her, the once oh-so-innocent girl from Dawson’s Creek turned Mrs. Tom Cruise? Yeah, she actually does act, but apparently for some who viewed her latest offering at the Sundance Film Festival, it wasn’t that good. Her flick, “The Son Of No One”, was shown at Sundance and by some reports, many walked out before the movie even ended.

Cassian Elwes, one of the film’s producers, states that although she had few scenes, the ones she did have were great and she was great in the role. (Of course, he is a producer of the movie, somehow I doubt he’d say it wasn’t good). Elwes did go on to say they had three offers for the movie, and also says that the lights in the theater were mistakenly turned on two scenes before the end…to explain for people leaving early. Not to sound mean, but when I see a movie I know it’s over when credits start rolling, not when lights come on. He also states that Holmes is very upset by the bad press, but that the filmmakers stand behind her and all castmates 100%.  So, what do you think? Tell us about it in our forums here !
