Survivor Heats Up Tomorrow Night! Finale Announced!

matt_sarita_survivor As we all know by now, the tribes are set to merge this coming week, and Matt is about to face his biggest challenge yet. Although he has won six duels in a row, this last challenge is not only his most important (so he can return to the game) but it also may be his downfall. According to CBS, the challenge will be endurance, and one we have seen previously… The two will stand on small pegs between two walls in their bare feet. Matt is going into this challenge already with a disadvantage with a cut on his foot. Will his injury cost him the game? All castaways will be present on the Island to witness the endurance competition.

Also, according to a press release by CBS, “The former tribes have big plans for one castaway who has the potential to change the game. Meanwhile, this same castaway grapples with the decision of whether to make the powerful move.” Sounds like drama is about to unfold! Tune in tomorrow at 8pm!

CBS has also announced the Survivor finale date, May 15th! The finale, as usual, is scheduled to be two hours of pre-taped drama before Jeff Probst reveals the winner in front of a live audience at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. The two hours will be followed up with another 1 hour reunion show with Jeff sitting down with all 18 castaways.

According to CBS, we will also get a tease from Probst about the upcoming 23rd season, and if history is any indication, the next season should start about the same time Big Brother is coming to a close this Summer.
