I’ll say it’s predictable and what is it about Kim the bridal shop owner that makes the women kowtow to her every whim?
She’s like a female Svengali! The reward challenge was so telling on this episode. Question: “Who would you trust with your life?” Even Kim voted for Kim!! Wow, she’s got them right where she wants them and doesn’t even bother to play the humble card. Kim won the reward challenge and the immunity challenge tonight despite Troy’s best efforts. It will be interesting at the end of the season to see who will still trust Kim with their life. At this point she must have a final 3 with everyone and that includes the lone standing man, Tarzan.
Kat was very upset with Kim after Kim did not pick her for the reward picnic. She picked Chelsea because “Chelsea hasn’t eaten.” She picked Alicia because she said that she didn’t want Alicia back at camp with Troyzan and Christina. Alicia thinks she was picked because she thinks she’s Kim’s BFF. I found it telling that Kim was not in any way shape or form worried about Tarzan being swayed by Troy. In fact the only reason Tarzan probably voted for Christina is not at Troy’s request but at the command of Kim who wanted to split the vote in case Troy had another idol. Who knows that Kim has the idol? As far as I can remember only Chelsea knows.
Kim knew she had to do damage control when she returned from the reward and tried to talk to Kat who said, “I am furious!” Kat now understands via Troy that she’s seen as a weak player and a follower. He definitely got her thinking. Did he put the target on her back when he left tribal council and leaned over to her and said “Do it!”? Chelsea looked concerned, however that could entirely be editing.
Many fans are bored with this season. Will it now be fun to watch the women catfight to the end or is the demise of Troy who you couldn’t help but root for, the end for some of the fans this season?
If I can make a prediction I would say that Christina is going home next week. When we don’t need a boot list, it’s not much fun.
But I will continue to watch and see if anyone can shake up the rest of this season.
What IS interesting is watching “The Ponderosa”! Jonas is quite the chef and has cooked for the other guys on numerous occasions. They’ve all gained back the weight they’ve lost with the exception of Jay who lost 30 pounds while out in the wild! It’s fun to watch them interact without the stress of the game. You get to know them a little more and they’re all so likeable. When Leif arrived Mike said “Come to Papa” and he picked Leif up and carried him around. It was hilarious. I can’t wait to watch Ponderosa tomorrow to see Troy’s arrival. Mike has been dreading Troy’s arrival since they don’t care for each other. What will happen when Troy finally realizes that Kim played him royally when she set Mike up for eviction?
At this point the jury is more fun to watch than the Survivors. Don’t really dig these women!
Until next week, outwit, outplay, outlast!
