Survivor: Redemption Island Premiers TONIGHT! Join Us!

‘Survivor: Redemption Island’ premiers tonight on CBS, 8/7 central, and we thought we would give you a sneak peek at what you can expect!

This time around, the medical team has prepared in advance for some of the injuries the contestants might face. According to Jeff Probst, host of the show, the contestants may encounter some venomous nasty crawlers, and no, we don’t mean Russell Hantz and Boston Rob.

According to the show’s medical director, Dr. Ramona Salins, there are a lot of very dangerous snakes in the region, so they will have to watch where they step. In fact, the medical team had to prep the crew and contestants on how to deal with snake bites, scorpion bites, and other insect bites, and has anti-venom on hand in case of an emergency.

This season, we will also see the return of the controversial Immunity Idols. That’s right, contestants will have to solve clues once again to find the hidden coveted idol.

Basically, the show’s 22nd season mixes new twists (like contestants getting second chances on ‘Redemption Island’) and old elements and challenges (like Russell and Rob’s return) to bring you what is being touted as a very interesting season and one not to miss!
