Last week the girls had an editorial shoot with Tyra depicting scenes from here New York Times Bestseller, Modelland. The judges had a difficult time deciding whom to eliminate. Ultimately, they gave sweet, lovable Kentucky-girl Laura the boot. Yes, my heart fell to pieces. Three girls remained…Allison, Lisa and Angelea.

Photo Shoot

This week is finale week, so it’s the CoverGirl shoot. They have to do a print ad and commercial. Jay is right about Lisa’s eyes. They really pop with the CoverGirl make-up; she’s stunning. Her commercial shoot isn’t amazing. She’s trying too hard to be CoverGirl, when really she just needs to be herself. Allison had trouble with the CoverGirl shoot her cycle, which is ironic because her eyes are her best asset! I’m a little worried for her. The photo shoot seems fine, but the commercial flirts a little with disaster. Her sensitive eyes don’t take too well to the bright lights. But Jay uses her closed eyes for some shots…I mean, you can sell mascara and eye shadow with closed eyes, too. Jay is really impressed by Angelea’s photo shoot. He even likes her “hood” personality showing through in the commercial. It sounds like Angelea had the best shoot of the three.

There’s also an Italian Vogue shoot where the girls model swimsuits. This little shoot seems sandwiched in episode and doesn’t really fit with the finale episode. I wonder if they had intended to eliminate a girl after this shoot and have a final two on the runway but decided against it. Who knows? Everyone is told they look beautiful. And Jay isn’t even there. The segment is only a few minutes long. It’s just kind of strange.

Runway

“Never in the history of Top Model have we ever had three girls at final runway.” Like I said, was this Italian Vogue shoot supposed to make a final two, but suddenly the producers decided for a twist?

Anyway, the girls are going to walk out, descend into a pool, swim across and emerge. They will then transition into a goddess and finish the runway. In reality, the wet model is actually replaced by a dry model during transition, but the girls have to portray both at some point in the runway.

The girls get their specially designed dresses. I kind of forgot that they helped design their dresses a few episodes back, but it’s cool. I love the train on Lisa’s dress and Allison’s is so unique and so her. Angelea’s is pretty, but it’s my least favorite. It’s a little old to me.

Lisa is first up. She does a twist in the water to look cool, but ends up swimming in the wrong direction. Oops…that’s awkward! She emerges, gets dried off and stuns on the dry runway. When her song from the music video challenge plays, she finds her groove and the whole audience joins in. She really did great. Angelea bobs up and down in the water, almost losing her mask. She does well on the dry runway, but I think Lisa outshined her. Allison holds her breath for a long long time and makes it across the pool just fine. Her dry runway isn’t so graceful. Unfortunately, the song she wrote was a slow song. So they added a beat and tempo to it, which just didn’t work for me. Her dress flies up and she isn’t very smooth at grabbing. I’m worried for her. She photographs so well, but sadly the runway might be her Achilles heel.

Surprise! Angelea did something that disqualified her from the competition. But that’s all we get! She’s not even there at judging. The judging is taking place in LA, so it seems that they probably shot the final judging already, disqualified Angelea and then reshot the final judging with just Lisa and Allison. Now we have to wonder if she won in the first place? And if she didn’t, then of course Lisa and Allison already know the outcome. It’s very strange. I just really want to know what disqualified Angelea. Online speculation is that she was posting spoilers about the season. Thoughts?

Anyway, the judges liked Lisa’s runway better than Allison’s. That’s a given. Allison’s CoverGirl shot is said to be “vacant.” I can understand that, but she’s still stunning. And they aren’t over the moon about her commercial, but I actually really enjoyed it. I thought she came out of her shell and sounded like a CoverGirl. The judges love Lisa’s CoverGirl shot. Even though only one eye is visible, they say it’s enough to captivate the audience. I’m sorry, but I didn’t love it. I mean, it was one eye! They are selling eye make-up. I blame whoever chose the shot. Also, she had no neck! They always talk about neck. I think they’re building up to her win.

Looking back on past shoots, they seem to favor Allison and her quirkiness. However, they do express how they’ve noticed growth in Lisa from the beginning until now. From my standpoint, Allison is the best model. She’s stunning. And I think she could do great with the Italian Vogue and CoverGirl prizes. Lisa has more of a “brand” that they’re talking about. I see her doing well with the Extra contributions, the Express spread and the blogs. I really want Allison to win, but I think the cards are all falling in Lisa’s favor.

And the winner is…Lisa! Congrats to her. I do think she deserves it. She has really grown so much from her original cycle and I can definitely see her using this experience and platform to go and do things. But I still love Allison. She’s just too amazing. She’ll do great things!

Last time on Top Model, Angelea went a little cray-cray when Dominique pointed out her lack of confidence and the other girls agreed. After an Olympic-inspired photo shoot, Angelea and Dominique were in the bottom two with Angelea pulling it out for being more memorable.

Photo Shoot

Tyra surprises the girls this week as the director of their shoot, which isn’t actually photos but a video editorial of her new book, Modelland. Yes, that is actually the name. And yes, it is already published and in stores. And apparently it’s a New York Times bestseller. Anyway, it’s about an awkward girl named Tookie who is invited to the exclusive Modelland atop a mountain where she must compete to become an Intoxibella (aka Top Model).

Tyson Beckford shows up to help in the shoot. Of course he has no shirt on. Of course. The girls must portray Tookie from various chapters in the book. It’s an extensive photo shoot and the final product will be unveiled in two parts, on this episode and the next. Allison is good at the awkward, but her sensitive eyes pose a problem for the bright sunny day. Angelea has an awkward run, and not a good awkward but a laugh-out-loud, that’s ridiculous awkward. But she uses her experiences and let’s her emotion consume her during the shoot, and Tyra is very impressed. Laura must spray whip cream in her mouth. They’ve said in the past to be less sexy because she takes it too far. But you’re giving the girl whip cream, what do you expect? Lisa is very good. She gives some awesome facial expressions and seems to get the big picture for the final product.

The video is pretty cool. I’m still not sold on the whole concept of Modelland, but I’m also sure I’m not the targeted demo for the book either. So, I like video shoot for it’s quirky, artsy point of view.

The judges like Angelea for her connection with the subject matter. Some judges are still worried about her “ticking time bomb,” but Tyson thought she was fantastic onset. (As pointed out by Tyra, of course she was because she was in love!) The judges recognize Lisa as a performer, one that knows her skills and knows how to put them to work. The judges again talk about Laura’s in-person sweetness and on-camera sexiness. Tyra loves her eagerness to do anything and Tyson loves working with her because of her friendliness and extroversion. The judges like Allison’s eccentricity in the shoot, with Nigel saying it was visually stunning. Tyson didn’t really care for her because she’s quiet and odd. I think they should quit listening to Tyson; he hasn’t been there enough. Just sayin’.

I honestly had no clue who the judges would send home, and apparently they couldn’t make up their minds either with judging taking more than an hour and a half. Lisa ends up with top performance, followed by Angelea, leaving Laura and Allison in the bottom two. At this point, I’m thinking it was too difficult for the judges to decide, so everyone will be a finalist. Also, I’m hoping so because these are my two faves! In the end, Tyra contrasts the two, Allison with her shy quirkiness and Laura with her bubbly openness, and Laura is sent home.

Yes, I’m bummed. I thought Laura was phenomenal and she really surprised me every time she was behind the camera. Something that bothered me was Tyra telling her that “something got a little lost this time.” I mean, really? She won two shoots this season. I think she was just as good, if not better, this time around. You go Laura, keep chasing your dreams!

Previously on Top Model, the remaining six girls jetted off to Greece! When they arrived in Greece, they were greeted by the press and asked to give a statement. Laura stumbled on her native-language phrases, Angelea asked where the bathroom was and Allison won the challenge. The photo shoot had the girls in swimsuit-like on a beautiful Grecian beach. Oh, and they also posed in a tossed salad…because everyone thinks “underwear, beach and tossed salad!” In the end, Shannon remained firm and refused to model underwear. Tyra called her “noble,” but sent her home.

This week starts with the girls sizing up each other. Angelea doesn’t understand why Dominique is still there and how she’s never been in the bottom two. I actually agree, I never saw Dominique lasting long in this all-star competition. But she has really turned it up and, in comparison, may actually be the most improved from her respective cycle. Many of the girls wonder how Allison just blinks and captivates the judges. Ahem, because she’s stunning! Lisa talks about the “entire package” again. I understand the “entire package” deal, but this “package” may consist of different things depending on which girl we are talking about.

Challenge

“TYRAmail: Tomorrow you’ll meet with the judges…Fierce and Love, Tyra.” There’s some anxiety since they just met with the judges, but it turns out that THEY will be the judges. They must critique one another. After judging one another’s walks and portfolios, Miss J asks Laura who does not deserve to win Top Model All-Stars. Of course, sweet Laura refuses to single out one girl and says everyone deserves it. Allison and Lisa follow suit. But Dominique turns the tables and says Angelea. She then goes into Tyra mode and tells Angelea that she sees so much of herself in her, she has so much potential and that she LOVES her. Wow, she really sounded just like Tyra! Dominique’s speech opens the door for the other girls to tell Angelea that she has so much to offer but simply lacks confidence. Laura gets upset and nearly starts crying telling Angelea that they are not attacking but trying to help her. Angelea’s guard immediately goes up, and then it’s her time to speak. Laura continues to try to break through to Angelea, but she’s just not having it. Ultimately, Angelea turns around, upset and crying, and storms out. Laura is also crying. I honestly think Laura has a big heart and just wanted to help Angelea find her confidence. In all fairness, the girls do not seem to be trying to attack Angelea. She just views everything as an attack rather than a critique. Miss J brings her back in and asks her who she thinks does not deserve to be there, to which she classily replies none of them. And then the girls vote on who has the best walk, best portfolio and overall star quality. Allison is voted the girl with least potential (here’s where I would say…threatened, anyone?) and Laura is voted the girl with the most potential. I’m so happy for Laura. She real is versatile and almost always surprises me.

Photo Shoot

TYRAmail: There are no words, just a picture of Greek art. The girls are told they will be using fashion accessories to recreate Olympic events with Nigel as photographer. Dominique is given javelin. Nigel likes her performance, but thought she was bland in person. Allison has the discus. Nigel thought she was awkward, not good awkward but crazy awkward. Jay gave her some advice to slow it down and she turned it out. Lisa gets the hurdles. She wants to play it safe because she has been featured jumping too many times. Nigel tells her she is crazy, so she goes out and jumps like crazy. They say she “jumped into the moment.” Laura is bow and arrow. She says her sister is good with a bow and arrow because “we got to eat!” She turns it out looking elegant and goddess-like. Angelea is given the shot put. She has no idea what shot put is, and it shows. She was lost and did not have a flow. All of the modeling basics were thrown out of the window. She was nervous because she could not find her angles.

Panel

Allison is up first. The judges appear to like it. They are not obsessed with it, but they do not have many negatives for it either. Nigel said it was a process to get the shot. The judges like Lisa’s jumping picture. They say this shot is more fashion than the previous jumping shots. Some like her dreamy face, but others do not like it. Dominique’s photo is seen as a little awkward, and her film lacked any real standouts. They see her as good, but not great. The judges like Angelea’s straight limbs and can see the shot as high fashion. But Tyra says the entire shoot was dead. The judges really like Laura’s shot. They say it is strong and stunning. My favorite was Laura’s. She looked fierce and flawless. My least favorite was Angelea’s. Her shot was just awkward and very dull.

Laura receives best photo, followed by Allison and then Lisa. Dominique and Angelea are the bottom two. Tyra says Dominique takes beautiful photos but she just is not memorable. She lacks a special factor. Angelea takes really nice photos, but not as great as Dominique’s. But unlike Dominique, she is memorable. However, she breaks under pressure. Ultimately, Angelea stays and Dominique goes.

From the modeling standpoint, I think Dominique was doing better than Angelea. She could turn out some better pictures, she was more consistent and she is definitely more professional. However, the judges are right that Angelea stands out more. She takes nice photos and she can really surprise me sometimes. I think it was the right decision. I was surprised Dominique had made it this far in all-stars to begin with. Plus, Angelea adds so much drama and excitement to the show. It’s hard not to love her!

When I was in elementary school, I was dealing with a crazy unmothering mom, a dad with a heart of gold, and a divorce and custody battle. My mom trying to win us over just to spite my dad and on top of that I was a kid that had no friends. There were these girls that would call me names all day everyday: ugly, stupid, disgusting etc. I was the girl who played tether ball by herself and would think about how to make these girls stop. I thought of the greatest plan! I was gonna buy them each a really nice Christmas present from Sanrio Surprises (Hello Kitty stuff) (I was in 4th grade)  in hopes that they would lay off of me a bit and maybe be nice to me. I saved all my birthday money amd garage sale money and wrapped really cute stuff for them after months of saving and gave them their gifts. After I gave them their presents with nice cards expressing how I’d love for them to be my friends, I ended up being an even bigger laughing stock of our whole 4th grade as the outcast trying to “buy friendship”. Everyone started asking me for presents laughing. I’ll never forget how horrible it was to be me and wished I could just disappear from life all together.

This didn’t stop for years. My mom won the custody battle and my sister and I’s life became lives of fear and pain. When you are coming of age and know that you are different then the rest it is heart breaking. There comes a point in your life when you kinda just snap and realize that maybe you don’t want or need their approval and wouldn’t want to be like them anyway. It comes kinda as a break down but truly it’s a break through!!!

Be you TIFUL!  If God wanted us all to be the same then why would he make us so different? Life is beautiful and it IS because of the ones that are so different: YOU! WE are the ones with the strength and power to be the voice of change and acceptance so that we can make the world a better place- not “THEM”.

Don’t stop dreaming and don’t stop working towards your dreams because this is your life not theirs. We all have our own individual journey’s, including theirs, but ours has a lot more bumps in the road to train us to be that much more powerful. They can buy their happiness by being weapons of mass consumption but they can never buy thick skin like what we have. We are indestructible because we have earned it and we own wings now!   We were put here to teach the ignorant and share beautiful stories of hope and courage. If anything, don’t read this as a message of “being accepted” but more of a message that you were brought here to be THE voice of love.

Here is your catch-up on the last episode of America’s Next Top Model:

After last week’s no-elimination, Angelea feels like she was saved and she is determined to remain focused. Bianca is still on her self-love run, believing she is the biggest competition of the household. Lisa still thinks she’s a spoiled little brat, that she plays the victim but she’s really the bully. Bianca just tells her she’s never going to be her friend, which seems completely unrelated. Laura thought it the Michael Jackson photo-shoot was the best one to get best photo on, she’s so proud. Bre is feeling the pressure from the personality clashes, she’ll always be there for her sister but she won’t fight her battles for her, and its time for some Bre time.

Tyramail: if you care about anything you won’t drop the ball. The girls meet Nigel at the beach for a charity challenge, for some flag football. To make two full teams the girls of the past come back to play, and each team gets two NFL players. Each NFL player represents one charity, and 5,000 dollars will be split between the two NFL player’s charities who are on the winning team. The teams break down to Blue: Angelea, Bre, Bianca, Allison, and Laura; and Red: Kayla, Alex, Lisa, Shannon, and Dominique. There’s a fashion element, when the yellow flag goes up, there’s a photo challenge, if your name is called you must pose for the camera. The single challenge winner will win a campaign on Tyra’s fashion website, and pieces from a Ghastno jewelry collection. Bre noticed that a lot of inner frustrations came out on the field. Dominique was the first to be called for a pose, Nigel asked for quarterback and she turned it on. Bre was asked for referee and she just ended up looking silly. Kayla was dynamic, Lisa was a touchdown, Shannon had style, Alex over did the cheerleader, and Angelea brought out two boys but then did nothing else. The red team got one touchdown thanks to Lisa, and the blue team got two. So the blue team’s charities each one half of 5,000 dollars, but the challenge winner was chosen after the photos were judged by Nigel. Kayla was chosen because she kept it fun and kept it model, she got styled by Andre Leon Talley for her photo-shoot for Tyra’s website typef.com. She was so excited and said she wouldn’t change this win for any other. Her f word was free, letting all the growing girls know that they can express and explore their unique sides of themselves. Andre and Tyra both thought it was fabulous.

Tyramail: get ready to claw your way to the top. Angelea knows that each model is talented in a different way, and its intense and stressful. The next day they go to a photo-shoot with Mister Jay who tells them they are going to be bar fighting with professional model Coco Rocha. Angelea was so nervous, Coco is the real deal, she knows exactly what she’s doing. The girls will be in a bar fight photo with Coco in pairs, Kayla and Allison, Bre and Alex, Bianca and Shannon, Angelea and Laura, and Dominique and Lisa. The photographer Douglas Friedman has a modern take on vogue, and Coco is there to teach poses, and her tips are breathing and vowels. Douglas says it really helps to make noise. Bianca and Shannon, Shannon is nervous but here to win; she was amazing and beautiful and Bianca was different but good. Kayla and Allison, Kayla was nervous because she believes Allison to be huge competition. They had to be giving a lot of instruction but they did well, Mister Jay was a little displeased only because it almost seemed like Coco was modeling with two amateurs. Angelea wanted to ask Coco how she words on her angles, and Coco said to just move, move, move; and how quickly Coco turned model off and on intimidated Angelea and she began to get scared. When Laura and Angelea started, Laura was doing well but Angelea looked overwhelmed with trying to crawl and fight and sell the shoes. Mister Jay followed her off set for a moment and talked her up after she told him she doesn’t feel good enough. He tells her she is worthy and that if she wants this she can have it, and this lifts her spirits and brings her back, and she is amazing and gets complimented on her beautiful face. Alex is ready to punch high fashion in the face by the time she and Bre go up. Coco was freaked out by Bre’s screaming, it was so shocking she was having trouble knowing what to do. Alex kept her head down and had to be reminded to get herself back in the shot. Lisa and Dominique were great, Mister Jay thought they were the perfect trio of the day with Coco- just beautiful and perfect. Back at home Bre and Alex are pumped at how well they believe they did, Bre knowing she gave her 100% and Alex knowing she was meant to be here.

The guest judge at panel this week was Coco Rocha, of course, and the girls were to be judged in the pairs they took the photos in. Kayla and Allison went up first, their photo had cinema and symmetry, good facial expressions, although Kayla had some tension and stiffness, Andre was not blown away; while Allison was shining and holding her own against Coco. Shannon and Bianca went up next, there was an exquisite ugly pretty with Bianca, Shannon had strong face but weak legs, and if given that extra bit, Shannon would not have been upstaged. It didn’t work for Shannon, Andre didn’t believe it, but Bianca was a predator roaring like a lion Angelea and Laura went up next, Angelea was dynamic and amazing, they could feel her pain, Coco thought she was so professional. Laura was like a stunt extra, lots of energy but no model. Alex and Bre went up next, they loved Alex’s body, it was like she was an upside down ballerina but her face made her look very old, like the socialite photo. Bre was bazaar she had angeles but she was telling a different story, it was the same thing over and over and it was boring. They were like reality contestants who won a chance to take photos with Coco, the professional. Dominique and Lisa went up last, and the judges were very impressed with Dominique’s outfit, she is getting better and better like a rising star. Dominique rocked her photo, she was powerful almost as if she was an instigator, the photo turned into a fabulous narrative, she was fighting and posing in the moment. Her leg was perfect, her hair was perfect, and then she turned to the audience, her movement was beautiful. Lisa had her mouth open again but here it works, she was excited, a natural fighter, holding up her body looking beautiful.

The best photo went to Dominique and runner up was her partner in crime, Lisa. Then it was Bianca with her lion roar, Angelea with her model power, Allison with her natural ability, Kayla with her talent, Shannon with her strength, and Laura with her movement, which left Bre and Alex, who were also partners, in the bottom two. Tyra thought it was interesting that two of the more popular personalities from past cycles ended up in the bottom two. Bre being more beautiful than she was in her previous cycle, but so guarded that it effects her performance and her film. And Alex who was so strong and beautiful in her pervious cycle but is now losing her edge, and going soft, having a fraction of the power she once had. Who stays? Alex. Bre walks off before Tyra can say anything to her. She later says that she gave her 100% and is proud of herself. Next week the girls get to design their own fragrance and there is more Bianca drama.

On October 5th’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, one of the girls had to go to the hospital. Kayla took a couple of ibuprofen after the rough panel but started to feel uneasy; she was dizzy and her heart was racing. She began to hyperventilate, gasping, vomiting, and everyone was frightened. She went to the hospital, and Dominique said she was scary and she hopes she comes back. When she gets back at 2:12 in the morning she tells us she had a cardiac arrhythmia which can come from stress and caffeine. Stress is abundant in the girls’ top model house.

Tyramail: It would be a crime to miss this action. The girls met Mister Jay at Stage 25 to audition for a role on CSI, they were all so excited. Laura said this was the biggest prize so far, but Bianca said she can’t see the other girls doing everything that she can. The creator of the show, executive producer Anthony Zuiker, is going to help judge the auditions; he’s also the guest judge at panel this week. The winner will air on a fall episode of CSI, they must memorize an entire thirty minute scene with medical words and all. Kayla said half the words were longer than her face, Camille was genuinely nervous and shaking. Kayla got three of the four words, but the girls who did the best were Angelea and Bre. Angelea kept saying she had the most talent up in the place, and that everybody loved her. Bre was just so happy she nailed it. Lisa had to go last and she was freaking out, she was forgetting the words because she hadn’t been looking at the script for so long. They were saying she had no energy, that she should be serious, but she was the worst of the day. They said Bre was incredible, the she owned the scene, and that Angelea has permission to be herself. Bre was chosen as the winner and she was so excited because an opportunity like this opens so many doors.

Tyramail: when you’re a star you have to EXPRESS yourself. They met Mister Jay back at an impressive mansion for an EXPRESS photo-shoot. They each are to play a part: cool chick, girlfriend, socialite, and flirt; and its important they tell a story. They were working with three male models: Josh, Shaun, and David. Angelea was a socialite and became a real rich bitch; they thought she was gorgeous with her slight smile but she shouldn’t arch her back so much. Kayla wanted to do good for the client, she was a cool chick and she was very good. Allison was a girlfriend, she didn’t look at the camera but she did great. Bre was flat but when she laughed she came alive. Dominique was a cool chick and they thought she did well. Bianca was a flirt, she said she was the model, and that Jay expected more from her, but Mister Jay said he hadn’t seen model the whole time. Shannon had little commitment, Laura was pretty cute, Alex looked like a madam, and Jay had to push and push Camille because she was giving him 60% of what he expected from her. Lisa was a cool chick, she wanted to prove she was badass but there was no expression.

Kayla went to the hospital but she still wanted everyone to know she was still here, still competing. Lisa wants to please everyone but she doesn’t know what the future holds. At judging, everyone thought Laura looked lovely as the flirt, that she was sweet and sexual but flat to the camera. Kayla was the cool chick, provocative and icy, she was the center of photo-her body language commanded attention. Dominique was also a cool chick, selling express and just the right amount of sexy; the judges said they would stop on her page for the clothes. Bre was a flirt, but too commercial, and not committed. Alex was out of her age range when she played the socialite, her body had confidence but her face did not; she looked forty plus, she forgot who her customer was. Allison went from awkward to relaxed, she was committed, wonderful, photogenic; an innocence doll who could use just a tiny bit more control. Camille was an unengaged socialite who needed more in her eyes, she was very pretty but she was extremely stiff. Lisa was a cool chick but the judges were at a loss for words, she had no energy, and she was all about excuses. Bianca wanted to look like she wanted them but she wasn’t looking at anybody; she was described as boring and completely amateur. Angelea was a socialite with a real story, she looked like new money-so fabulous; she had a strong character and has been making leaps and bounds.

The best photo was Angelea, and the runner-up was Dominique. Then it was Allison, Laura, Kayla, Shannon, Bre, Bianca, and Alex. Tyra told Alex that she has more talent than her photo this week, that it does not look like her. The bottom two are Camille and Lisa. Tyra said they are polar opposites, they both have excuses but Camille is in control with background while Lisa is daring, outta control, a funny comedian but an excuse monster which is not allowed. Lisa stays because of her smile, her laugh, creating, branding, a fighter, a stand-out, someone who is stronger than an excuse. Tyra told Camille that she was a disappoint, at first you don’t succeed, you try and try again, that this is not the end but that she should be proud.

On October 12th’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, we started the hour with some drama. The girls get a certain amount of time to talk on the phone with their loved ones. Shannon tried to be as fair as possible and calculated how long each girl would get so that all the girls could have a turn. Then the order was randomly chosen, and Bianca ended up last. She was worried that Shannon calculated wrong and that she wouldn’t have a chance to talk to her boyfriend. She confronted her and Shannon offered her phone time to Bianca so that she wouldn’t be mad. She then started crying and explaining that she has a sensitive spirit and she can’t take people yelling at her. Lisa decided it was her time to step in and told Bianca that she was being a bully, but Bianca didn’t feel Lisa had any place in the conversation. Bianca ended up walking away after Lisa told her she didn’t give a damn what she said. Don’t think that this is over yet.

The girls ended up meeting Miss Jay at the pier and Bre thought it was nice to get out of the house. The girls are doing a fashion show, with a carousal runway that they will have to step on and off of as its moving and they show off the Kardashian collection line for Sears. Miss Jay comes to check on them while they’re in hair and make-up and so do the Kardashian sisters. They tell them the winner will receive a head to toe outfit, and to bring it and be themselves. Kayla is terrified, she’s in tall tall heels and she’s nervous, she did well but she slid getting off. Allison stumbled off a little, Lisa is uber concentrated, Angelea stumbled, Miss Jay and the sisters though Bianca had no energy, and Dominique also stumbled. Bre spun when she got off so it looked cool and covered any stumble she might have had. Laura pulled off the clothes, Shannon got a yes from the sisters, and Alex looked like a shark. The sisters couldn’t decide on one so they picked two winners, they were very proud of Lisa and Bre. When they got home Bianca went off, she was ranting and raving how no other girl deserves this as much as her, that she was going to punch the next girl that started talking smack. She feels like she’s fighting a losing battle, that she can’t take this pain and hurt, she starts talking on the phone with her boyfriend telling him how she feels broken. Downstairs the girls are talking about how if she can’t handle the stress, she should go home. Alex said if she can’t handle it, she’s wasting the judges time, and all this sends Bre straight up the stairs to tell Bianca what they are saying. Bre says she can’t stand people pretending to be good and concerned when all they want is less competition. Bianca took this as fuel, she decided she was going to get up and fight because thats what she knows how to do.

Tyramail: you’ll get notice when you’re off the wall. The girls head to siren studios to meet with Mister Jay to learn that they are portraying Michael Jackson through the years in a photo-shoot. They get to work with Rushka, Michael Jackson’s personal stylist, and photographer Tom Peterson who photographed Michael Jackson before. A special surprise guest judge shows up, its La Toya Jackson, she helps the girls channel their inner Michael. Laura was scared but she rocked 90′s Michael, never broke character and looked wonderful. Lisa was the early 80′s, the photographer loved her and her energy. Allison was the 60′s, they said she was perfect and she nailed it so many times. Shannon was the late 80′s, they thought she looked hot and did well. Kayla was also a part of the early 80′s, and she got many good’s and great’s from the photographer. Dominique was also the late 80′s and she was very good. Alex was the late 90′s and she was nice. Angelea was also the late 80′s, she was trying to channel love and be as if she was singing. Bianca zones into the character of the early 80′s and they thought she was really good. Bre was middle 80′s, she was excellent, beautiful, her moments had story and she needed to do was stop holding her breathe. Before the girls got home, Bianca and Shannon got into another tiff. Shannon made a joke and Bianca took it literally, Shannon admitted her mistake but Bianca would not shut up about the crying christian who could do no wrong and then goes and does that. Blah blah blah, go home Bianca.

La Toya Jackson was the guest judge this week, and she was very appreciative that the girls did this for her brother. Shannon was late 80′s, one judge thought she was genius, another thought she was bad, but she became the character and she connected. Kayla was the early 80′s, she had energy and passion, you could feel the song, the attitude, she was performing. Dominique was a smooth criminal, modelesque with the perfect movement. Angelea was intense and different, Andre said her body was incredible but her face could be better, she needs more pow. Allison was wonderful, she was the essence of the era, her photo was Italian vogue, she lost a little model, and looked like an innocent boy. Bre was amazing with the opposite of her calm faces and kickbutt toes, she was trying but it seems her power was dimming. Alex’s photo had a sense of humor, and was whimsical. Lisa was the thriller, she worked her signature moves (open mouth, out stretched legs), but Nigel didn’t think it worked in this picture. They loved Laura’s hands, legs, lovely face, it all worked well, she was elegant and magical. Bianca was just doing it, it was good but it wasn’t strong. Tyra asked her about what was going on in the house, and Bianca went off about how much competition she was and thats why the girls were bashing on her but that she doesn’t break even if she bends.

La Toya picked the order from best to worst, and she chose the girl who went home. Best photo went to Laura, with Shannon as the runner-up. Then it was Dominique, Allison, Alex, Kayla, Bre, and Bianca. The bottom two were Lisa and Angelea. The judges felt they didn’t know who Angelea was with her highs and lows. Lisa was considered a one note, one look, not surprising girl, which is the opposite of what they previously thought. So, no one went home, La Toya was so grateful and her brother was all about love and second chances so no one went home this week.

Here is your quickie recap and commentary on ANTM All-Stars Episode 3 last night! Did you watch? If not, you may want to stop reading as this will spoil it for you!

The models, fresh from the make-overs last week, get a visit from Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari from MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, and it’s spin off, The Hills. Kristin, known as a pretty nasty personality from those Reality shows, was there to tell the girls that even if you have haters out there, it doesn’t mean you can’t go far. Personally, I didn’t see much of a point in her visit, unless her visit was edited WAY down. It seemed out of place. Maybe they couldn’t find another “star” to visit that week? Did anyone see a point to this?

The Challenge:

I digress… the Challenge this week was for the girls to be interviewed by Extra’s Mario Lopez to see how well they would do under pressure. They were split off into teams, and for the first time in ANTM history, the winning team of six would be safe from eliminations. The top two photos from last week, Lisa and Bianca, got to choose the teams, kind of like you would during Elementary School P.E.class. Lisa chose Laura, Alex, Isis, Dominique and Angelea. Bianca chose Allison, Bre, Shannon, Camille and Kayla. Kayla, chosen last… Do you think she felt like that last picked kid in 3rd grade?

Apparently to Nigel, Lisa was too animated and vocal during the interview, giving high fives to her team after every answer, and interrupting Alex’s answer. Course, what did he expect from Lisa? She was certainly showing her personality. On the other side, Nigel said Angelea needed to show a bit more of her personality. Ultimately, the winning team was Bianca’s, sending her team of six to safety.

Angelea, however, did not take the criticism well. In the car ride back to the house after the challenge, she vented to everyone that she was treating the interview as a job applicant would, with business class, and she will answer to no one… “Not you, not Nigel, Not any one of these bitches” as she pointed around the cab, and vowed to bring it up at panel. Course, none of the other girls said a thing during her tirade. I sort of agreed with her, not necessarily the way she did it, but really… Lisa has too much personality, and Angelea didn’t show enough?

The Photo Shoot:

The photo shoot was actually quite interesting this week. The girls were teamed up in pairs consisting of one “safe” girl, and one “not safe” girl and had to pose on black stilts. I have seen them called “elegant”, but to me, they resembled black cricket legs. Anyway, the photos turned out to be quite interesting, none of them horrible by any means, but some did stand out more than others. At the shoot, Bianca, afraid of heights, almost didn’t go through with the shoot, but got through it, and hers turned out to be one of the best photos (even though Jay expressed disappointment with her performance, so maybe her film wasn’t that great.) Otherwise, the shoot went pretty smooth.

The Judging:

The girls were brought up by Tyra in the pairs the shot with and were critiqued. Allison sparked a new term to be used on ANTM, the booty “tooch”… basically, stick out that rear end, and of the safe girls, ended up receiving best picture for it. Of the girls in danger, Alexandria got best photo (and can I say I love her hair the way they decided to make it over?) Bottom two of the unsafe girls (but according to Tyra, not bottom two of all the pictures) were Isis and Angelea. Angelea did, as promised in the car ride after the challenge earlier, bring up the Nigel comment, saying she didn’t understand why she was told she didn’t have enough personality. She just didn’t do it bitchy like she said she would. Nigel and Tyra explained that she should show some personality, but also know when to reign it in. (Again, I disagree with this. In my opinion, you should be who you are, especially in an interview. People will love you, people will hate you, but there will be no in between, that’s for sure.) Based on photos alone, Angelea’s photo was stronger, so Isis was sent packing this week.

I was actually happy with the results last night. Isis seems like a real nice girl, but just never did it for me as a fashion model, so I was glad to see others saved. Plus, what the heck was with her hat at judging?

All in all it was a decent episode. There seems to be a lack of girl drama in the house this season which I have come to expect, with only an occasional outburst here and there. Dare I say these All-Stars have grown up a bit? Even Alexandria seems to have mellowed, and she was on just last year!

By the looks of the preview next week, there looks to be some ER drama coming up, with Kayla getting violently ill, paramedics, girls screaming… Hopefully this doesn’t hurt her chances in the competition, as she has one of my favorite “looks” of the season. Not necessarily my favorite personality, but looks wise, gotta love that red hair. Course, I’m a biased for Lisa and her out there personality and would love to see Alexandria overcome the hate and move on up in the competition as well.

The episode begins with everyone congratulating Isis for best photo. Dominique is realizing early on that this cycle is not all fun and games and Alex is just so thankful she stayed, she believes she’s the misunderstood star and for every person that hates her, there’s a person that knows her and loves her. Sheena expresses to the girls how its very hard for Asian models right now, but thinks that because she’s an entertainer she’ll have an edge. The girls start to play dress up, having some fun, but then Tyra shows up-live and in person Tyra-mail, anyone? She brings along with her the king of branding, Martin Lindstrom who is described as harsh but always gets results. He’s here to turn their fifteen minutes of fame into a lifetime; and a huge step of that is your brand. He gives each girl one word that was polled to the fans. Lisa’s word is “daring,” partly because the fans don’t trust her, she is expected to break every rule. Sheena’s word is “unexpected,” because they want the fans to see her in a different way. He tells Kayla that the word “lesbian” is out which her hurt personally because that is her identifying community, but he wants her to reinvent herself, and the word he gives her is “free.” She doesn’t know what to do with it, and decides she will sleep on it to try and find what it means to her. Shannon was told the fans see her as boring, so her word is “trustworthy.” Dominique’s word is “survivor,” Allison’s word is “unique,” Angelea’s word is “persistence,” Bre’s word is “girlfriend,” Camille’s word is “proud,” Isis’s word is “inspiration,” Laura’s word is “loveable,” Alex is seen as annoying by the fans so her word is “tough,” and Bianca’s word is “candid.” They are told to think about it everyday, live it, love it, breathe it.

As soon as Bianca hears candid, no restrictions-natural, she goes off. Dominique, Angelea, and Camille were talking together and I don’t even know if one of them mentioned her name, but as soon as it sounded like it, Bianca went off saying they were talking shit about her and that they could say it to her face. Totally crazy moment. Then they were off to Hollywood and Highland to meet Mister and Miss Jay at Siren Studios for a photo-shoot. They want to transform them into true Hollywood celebrities, Ashlee Simpson showed up to help them along with their ty-overs. Tyra + makeovers = ty-overs? Yes makeovers, its all about the image and the image defines the brand. Alex is getting cut, shorter hair but super short. She’s overly excited and everyone thinks she’s so fake for it because she’s had long hair all the time. Sheena had a bad experience last time, so she was kinda worried, Miss Jay took the opportunity to scare her a little before telling her she’s not doing anything extreme. Bre is getting short sides, Lisa is also getting a cut which she thinks is rad. Kayla is going back to red, and Bre has lost all her confidence with her hair. She starts talking to a producer, she thinks she wants to leave. She started to think of her brand and she decided to stay, but she’s afraid she won’t do well because she doesn’t feel beautiful.

Mister and Miss Jay bring in the next part of the photo-shoot, the girls are to create their own Pink’s hotdog. Ricky Middlesworth is their photographer, very highly recommended. They are to think about their brand as they make their hotdog, eat it, sell it, make it your brand. Laura puts chili and bbq sauce on her dog, and Ricky tells her she sold it. Camille was told not to hide her face behind her hotdog, and she was off because she hadn’t eaten a hotdog in a very long time. Mister Jay had Laura come over and show her a few things that he liked. Angelea was owning it, blowing Jay’s socks off with her refined beauty. Bianca was Jay’s biggest surprise of the day; Dominique was good; Ricky loved Allison’s eyes. Sheena tried to bring it by decorating her dog with rose petals but the whole time it just looked like she had to pee. Alex was so fake happy she started fake crying, then she put bacon on her hotdog and the photographer called her gorgeous. Isis was giving a twinkle; and Shannon was perfect. Kayla was too cheesy, she didn’t know what to do, it was killing Jay because it just did not work. Lisa had sparkle, she was bright and sexy, everything is a dare and she was very piercing. Ricky thought Bre was so sheik, she just needed to keep her brand in mind, but it was so weak.

The girls get Tyra-mail, and it tells them that one of them will be eliminated. Kayla is nervous because she knows she’s the total package while she believes some of the girls here are not and she does not want to go home because of one bad shoot. Bianca is scared for Bre because she didn’t like her makeover and expressed a want to go home. The guest judge is Ashlee Simpson, and the first they call up is Kayla; when Ashlee thinks of free, she thinks of hippie and relaxed body, someone let go. Allison looked like a doll, a fairy, but Tyra doesn’t want to go too much into cute. Alex was described as the girl next door, but it needs more “tough.” They wanted to be shocked by Sheena, wish they saw both their legs, but it wasn’t interesting and it lacked flavor. Angelea was endearing, Lisa was crazy good, Bre was fabulous and soft but the judges were confused as to who she was, she needs to be consistent, needed that spark in her eye. In deliberation, the judges knew Kayla is capable but she’s not yet free. Shannon is classic, beautiful, and pretty; Dominique is authentic; Camille has pride but she needs to bring it in her photo; Laura’s body was eh but her face was great; Isis was over reaching. Bre nailed it but who is she; Allison was charming but she needed more uniqueness; Sheena was uninspiring; Alex was not tough in her photo; Bianca was candid; Angeala was entertaining; and Lisa was daring and consistent.

Someone else got a cut, Nigel’s beloved hair was all chopped off by Tyra for the sake of his brand. He stuck to what the people know and lead by example. Best photo went to Lisa for her daring, runner up went to Bianca because she lived and breathed her brand. Then it was Alex, Laura, Angelea, Dominique, Shannon, Allison, Isis, Bre, and Camille. The bottom two were Sheena and Kayla. Tyra told Sheena she is a stunning girl, but she’s not in the photos, she’s better in things than in person. Tyra told Kayla she’s a top model in a shell, but she needs to break free, that strong Kayla is lost and she doesn’t know what to grab on to. Kayla stays (thank Heaven) because Tyra knows she is beautiful and strong and that wasn’t her, that she is getting lost, that she’s a leader and she shouldn’t forget it. Tyra tells Sheena that this is not the end, Sheena says she came to show respect to her fans, she’s sad she didn’t get to show her 100% star quality, but she’s always going to be remembered as an all star.

This cycle on America’s Next Top Model has a brand new twist, fourteen former contestants have returned for the all-star round! Tyra went back through all the past sixteen cycles and picked out the fan favorites and some of the most outrageous characters. Its tougher this cycle because not only will the judges be looking for modeling potential, they will be watching and waiting for these ladies to show their true star power. The prizes this cycle are even more spiced up than before: Not only do these hopefuls get a second chance at the coveted title of America’s Next Top Model, the winner receives a contract with Covergirl Cosmetics, a spread in Vogue Italia, a guest corespondent on Extra, and an Express Fashion Campaign. Wednesday’s episode in particular had the first ever living judging panel and Nicki Minaj as the guest judge. The fabulous allstars themselves are Shannon (Cycle 1), Camille (Cycle 2), Brittany (Cycle 4), Lisa (Cycle 5), Bre (Cycle 5), Bianca (Cycle 9), Dominique (Cycle 10), Isis (Cycle 11), Sheena (Cycle 11), Allison (Cycle 12), Laura (Cycle 13), Angelea (Cycle 14), Kayla (Cycle 15), and Alexandria (Cycle 16).

The girls arrived at their new ANTM mansion one by one, making plenty of comments as each arrived. Kayla thought Allison would be here because she was quirky and memorable; while not many were excited to see Bianca who was known for being a diva. The first Tyra-mail in the new house was find your beds! After that scramble, Mister Jay showed up to greet the girls, and let them know that their first photo-shoot was going to be right there, right now in their backyard. They were going to be portraying as larger than life versions of their personas during their original seasons of ANTM, they are looking for someone who can make it in the celebrity world of modeling.

Bianca, already showing her Diva colors, was hating her red hair for this shoot, (Which were really only strands of clip-on extensions) but she wanted to be a lady who was loud and sassy, unfortunately the photographer wasn’t feeling a model vibe. Allison played the quirky, porcelain doll. The photographer wanted to play up her huge doe eyes, but it turned out to be a little awkward for her since after her season, she had become a behind-the-camera girl rather than in front of one. So getting back into the swing of modeling was tough for her. Bre was ghetto fabulous, Dominique was a combination of masculine and feminine, and Camille was, well, a diva. Kayla knew her outfit the moment she saw the rainbow dress, she was proud lesbian all through her cycle and it made her a fan favorite for sure. Brittany was the party girl, Laura was the county cutie, while Alex was the tough CA girl. Isis was confidence, Sheena was harlem but not hoochie, while Angelea was the girl from the hood. Lisa was the wild child, and Shannon was angelic. Shannon’s outfit had a set of wings, as well as a bikini bottom with a lace shorts cover, but she refused to wear the lace. The lace shorts actually showed less than just the bikini bottom she opted for, but to her, lace meant underwear and underwear is what she would never wear. The judges and Mr. Jay seemed put off by that.

After their photo-shoot the girls were told that they would experience panel for the first time live, with real fans, and would be judged on their photos at the Nokia Plaza. The guest judge was Nicki Manij who impressed Tyra with her ability to critique a photo.

Live at the Nokia, with what appeared to be thousands of fans gathered, Jay announced Tyra who would then bring out the girls to their fans one by one. The fabulous new judges were then introduced: Andre Leon Tally, Nigel Barker WITH HAIR (I hope you guys saw that, if you didn’t, google it since it appears he will be shaved next episode), and guest judge Nicki Manij. Jay then announced the girls as they made their way down the cat walk, cheered by fans, and then given comments by the judges. Lisa was first, bringing all her personality with her. Nicki didn’t like her shoulders in the photo but otherwise thought she rocked it. Allison was greeted warmly by the crowd, was praised for her original presentation of personal style (Andre referring to her dress of the evening), photogenic, and Nicki said her picture would make her stop in a magazine. Angelea’s outfit of choice for the evening was loved, and her photo looked “Beverly hood.” Shannon had confidence and innocence, but Nicki said she looked like she was holding something back. Camille was called “divalicious” by Andre, and the judges could see a softer side to the diva because it appeared she was almost hiding behind the pillar, also, amazing legs. Dominique was sexy but much more feminine than masculine. Sheena dressed in a jumpsuit and Andre and the judges loved it, but her picture was said to be amateur. Tyra said she needed to bring her amazingness to her photos. Alex from last season then came to the cat walk, and some dude started shouting at her, calling her a bitch. She also received some “boos” from the crowd. It seemed no one else heard, and the judges continued critiquing her, telling her the photo did nothing for them. Isis was the new mermaid said Andre, and Nicki said her pose was impressive. Brittany was told she nailed it, but that she should have extended her legs further. Bianca was told she looked stunning, but they questioned that her photo was too vintage. Kayla was up and they loved her face, dress, legs, shoes, the only thing Nicki didn’t like was that her hand was in a fist. Bre was described as clique, with sleek hair, and ‘dope’ looking. Laura was country, but high fashion and totally rocked it. As the last girl left the stage, they were given a surprise-they were also going to be judged on their personality, if the fans think they have extra special potential.

The judging was continued in private, like all deliberations before it, the judges also asked fans questions. Allison was seen as the whole package, an all time favorite; Angelea had more control than before; Camille has the right amount of wrong; Sheena had a great presentation; Kayla is miss photogenic; Bre is wonderful live; there is a market for Laura; Alex got booed; Dominique was a rolemodel; Isis was a real star, people loved her; Lisa was remembered as extreme; Shannon had commercial potential but seemed confused; Bianca had authority, and Brittany didn’t have many fan comments. Before long, the judges had made a decision. Best photo went to Isis, second: Allison, and third: Camille. Then Tyra called Lisa, Angelea, Laura, Bre, Bianca, Shannon, Dominique, Sheena, Kayla (why was she called so late?), leaving the bottom two as Alex and Brittany.

Tyra heard that Alex got booed and was afraid she made a mistake in bringing her back, and Brittany was somewhat or not at all remembered. Brittany ended up going home again, because just because Alex was hated doesn’t mean she wasn’t a star. Hate and love is polarity and that makes you a star, what doesn’t make you a star is indifference; and that’s why Brittany went home. Tyra told her that she had a business and a career and that she should not give up. She was shocked, but there was nothing she could do.

America’s Next Top Model Premiers tonight, Wednesday September 14, (9/8c) for their brand new All-Star Season, and we got the wonderful opportunity of sitting down with one of the All Star Models herself, Lisa D’Amato!

Lisa was originally on season 5 of America’s Next Top Model, and was probably most known for her edit as the “crazy girl”, but let me tell you, she is one of the most interesting, talented, genuine people that I have had the pleasure to chat with!

The Yak: What have you been up to since your season of ANTM?

Lisa: After ANTM, I continued modeling for the clients that knew me and loved me. I really wasn’t new clients’ cup of tea, especially after ANTM loved to indulge in my “party girl” footage, if ya will. All good though! I booked the lead role in a play called “Rumors” where I played a character named Trina and worked with major TV sitcom actors from Family Matters and touring comedians. It was amazing! Not to mention I put out music videos via youtube which garnished millions of views. You might remember my song Ace Of Spades as well as other tracks like My Name is LIsa and Can’t Touch It which graced Perez Hilton’s site, and were also featured on HBO’s Entourage.  With music and performing as my specialty in the performing arts, I have been touring the last 4 years nationwide. My album La Puchinetta dropped back in 2009 around the same time I went on VH1 and Dr. Drew’s Celeb Rehab where I tried to shake the image of being an “alcoholic” which ANTM helped label. Luckily for me, it was a life changing experience because I got therapy for childhood trauma. Our society has a very unhealthy relationship with alcohol & drugs in general! After watching people detox and serious life therapy, I have the upper hand in education on the subject and couldn’t be happier or healthier. :]

The Yak: How did you get chosen for your original season?

Lisa: My friends sent in an audition tape that they recorded for me. I had never really watched ANTM or TV in general. I think the reason I got chosen was because I was real and didn’t have preconceived notions about how I was going to be. I didn’t have a filter and my life story was interesting. I was very blunt and didn’t apologize for it. Going thru the long casting process, I found a lot of the girls to be fake and “playing a role” for the cameras. I was just me. Plus, I have been in the industry since I was 11 or 12 years old and understand the whole “paying dues” thing and I didn’t complain much. That why I think I got chosen.

The Yak: Are you looking forward to the new cycle of ANTM?

The Yak: Were you excited to be asked back for the new season?

Lisa: To be asked back definitely felt good, but truly, ANTM really hurt me. I was devastated after it came out. I didn’t even watch my season after a couple episodes aired because I saw how the editing was going… I didn’t have to! People on the streets would say the most hurtful things to me. Since then, my life DID change for the better because of ANTM. Thanks to them I got to get therapy from Dr. Drew. Childhood trauma is something that weighs on your shoulders your whole life so I got to get through that.

The Yak: What was the experience like the first time around? Fun? Stressful? Was it less stressful the second time around?

Lisa: Cycle 5 was definitely every emotion I’ve ever felt, personally, for me. I was the outcast, I was good at challenges & photo shoots, all the girls hated me and talked shit about me while I was being super nice to them. I was constantly trying to stay positive and have fun while my childhood trauma’s soar spots were constantly being poked. I also was new to how reality shows worked. On cycle 5, I truly felt like I was getting backed into a corner a lot of the time which is why I was always fighting that and running around trying to keep my spirit up! Now I’m smarter and it’s only about checkmating these days. The tables are turning as they should.

The Yak: How was the experience of living with all those other girls?

Lisa: Cycle 5 was a nightmare living with the other girls. They were so insecure and immature and it showed with jealousy and backstabbing. The All-Stars seemed to be A LOT different. They are all more comfortable in their own skin. They have more experience and confidence and aren’t as threatened by every breath they take. It was refreshing! The All-Stars airs tonight so I don’t know what went on behind closed doors but we all know how it works now. :]

The Yak: What is Tyra like? For the matter, how do you feel about all the judges and Jay Manuel?

Lisa: I have mad respect for Tyra! I understand her position on the show a lot better and I feel she is starting to change for the better. I was mad angry at her for years but now I understand things a little differently. I think Tyra has a big heart, it just gets misunderstood, and different strings pull her in different ways. We are all a work in progress and mega stars and moguls are no different. Tyra is someone I’d love to look up to as much as I do Dr. Drew. So far so good. Miss J is one of my favorites… I think he and I just understand each others diversity better than most and he appreciates mine- I love that! Jay Manual is SOOO Talented. Soo Sooo talented and incredibly smart also. I wish things could be funny, not only when he says them sometimes, but that’s coming from a clown that wants that spot light too I guess. Nigel is so handsome! He knows it, though- I hate that. Hahaha! He really hurt my feelings when I finally watched cycle 5 but I understand now that they have their “roles”. I really like Nigel now. On Cycle 17 Nigel and I have a moment of clarity and it was refreshing for me that he went there with me… you’ll see. :] And, Andre hmmmm……. I always felt like on Cycle 17 at all the panels that Andre didn’t like me. I felt like he doesn’t understand me and doesn’t want to either, which kinda sucks cuz I think he is the cutest teddy bear ever. All I wanted to do was give him a big hug. But, I guess we’ll see! lol

The Yak: What was your favorite photo shoot on your season? What was your least favorite?

Lisa: I would say that my favorite photo shoot on Cycle 5 was the superhero shoot. I love adrenalin and taking risks, so putting on a harness and getting raised up in the air and acting as a superhero is my JAM! I loved the country shoot also. That was fun!
My least favorite shoot was probably the plastic surgery shoot only because I had to listen to the other girls talk about how old and ugly I was while I was shooting. That sucked. My pic was great though! Haha!

The Yak: Looking at the upcoming season, anything we should be paying close attention to?

Lisa: The All-Stars season is truly an adrenalin rush. It kept us on our toes the whole time… it was like circus in the fast lane. NO JOKE. Which, I couldn’t have loved more. It was fun to have things move closer to my pace. I’m on the go at all times and it was fun to get the other girls to move at a faster pace. You will have to pay attention to everything!!! Don’t blink!! Hahaha!

The Yak: Rumor has that you had an album hit the streets?

Lisa: Yep! My Sophomore Album Flippin’ The Bird is out NOW on , Rhapsody, ShopLisa, EVERYWHERE. I have songs produced by The Cataracs, Aqua, Colin Hartel, Cisco Adler etc. This album is HOTTT!!! The Yak: What are your influences musically?

Lisa: Madonna, Pink Floyd, and Michael Jackson are my main influences.

The Yak: How long have you been doing music?

Lisa: Music has been a huge obsession since I was a tater tot, but I have been professionally seeking it since I was 17 and signed to Maverick Records through my modeling agency. I’ve actually been signed 3 times… I guess 4th times a charm, hopefully. Although, I do love doing things independently also. Free reign to do whatever you want is nice! :]

The Yak: What made you decide to do music?

Lisa: Music chose me. Music is one thing I never get bored of. I love writing songs, recording them, dancing to them, performing them. Music is my mistress. And, I hope to die on the dance floor. :]

The Yak: Are you going to continue to do modeling or do you have other plans in future?

Lisa: I will aways do photo shoots, I will always perform whether it be music, acting, hosting, everything. Hollywood has always been my stomping ground and for good reason. I always will be doing things in the Entertainment Industry because my heart was married to it before I had anything to say about it. I’m working on quite a few projects but don’t wanna talk about them just yet. You’ll have to wait & see :]

The Yak: Is acting in the plan?

Lisa: I love acting! I trained 2 years at Playhouse West and 2 years at Howard Fine along with tons of workshops! I’d love to do more acting. When the right opportunity presents itself, I will tear that shit up! Hahaha! Until then, other projects have my full attention and I can’t wait to share them with the world.

The Yak: Do you still keep in touch with models from your previous season?

Lisa: Bre and Kim and Jayla from time to time… not much though. We all lead our own lives.

The Yak: You have so much energy. How do you do it?

Lisa: It’s gotta just be in my genes because my sister has 3 kids and she wears them out! I’ve always been incredibly active and a cross country runner, so that keeps my energy up too, I guess.

The Yak: What do you suggest to all the young girls who want to get into modeling, any words of wisdom for them?

Lisa: Sure. Modeling is such a narrow and limited career choice, not to mention the need for specific physical appearance specifications. It is a shallow industry because it has to be! That being said, I feel like girls want to model because of the “fame” and “glamour” but it is a lot of hard work and it’s a tedious schedule. If a girl has what it takes in terms of physical appearance, I say go for it but with parental supervision and if not, all these young girls and boys should really focus on what they actually really like to do. If you want to be in front of the camera, take some acting classes or workshops etc. I think our culture today is more about becoming “famous” more than it is about honing your craft. My main question for girls is what do you want to do? If they say be famous… well then we have a huge problem in our society.

The Yak: What has been your scariest moment in your modeling career?

Lisa: Hahaha! I have the most embarrassing. I was in Milan doing a HUGE fashion show for Sebastians International and they chose me to come down in this huge theater on a swing from the ceiling and fly over the whole audience… I had JUST started my period and just realized it when about to lift off into the audience and I was wearing a beautiful white flowing gown… After I was finished, the crew took off my harness and I made a huge stain on the dress and the SWING!! I made a joke about it and laughed it off but I went in the bathroom and cried for a sec. I was sooo embarrassed. I felt so bad :/

The Yak: What has been your happiest moment in your modeling career?

Lisa: The happiest moment in my modeling career was when I booked my very 1st National Guess Ad Campaign. I knew my world was going to change for life. Unfortunately, my mom ruined that for me and I never got to do it. The 2nd was when I booked a German catalog job where I made $5,000 in 4 hrs. I really needed it at the time. It was like God sent! Also, when I booked my very own commercials for H&M and Coca-Cola. Those were big moments for me… Those were all before Top Model, too!

The Yak: What’s next?

Lisa: What’s next is the true Redemption. It is the icing on the cake. You’ll have to wait and see. I am the best I’ve ever been and I think it shows. :]

Welcome to our inaugural edition of Yak’s Reality Roundup. The usual installments of this weekly feature at YY will usually appear on Mondays, however, we thought it would be a good idea to premiere one of our new features today as summer reality TV comes to an end and fall reality TV begins its domination. Big Brother 13

After a long and grueling summer, starting with someone leaving the game before the show’s network premiere, Big Brother 13 comes to an end and will crown it’s winner tonight on the season finale on CBS. The finale tonight airs immediately after the season premiere of Survivor: South Pacific at 9:30/8:30c. The finale three contestants, Rachel, Porsche, and Adam, battle it out in a 3-part competition for the final Head of Household, earning the right to pick who they will sit with when they face the jury. The finale will also revisit the jury house one last time as Kalia makes her way there. We’ll be getting a peek at the jury deliberations as they discuss who they believe should win Big Brother 13′s $500,000 cash prize. Don’t miss tonight’s cast reunion show, as well, where secrets are bound to be exposed and personalities will clash. Who do you want to see walk away with the grand prize? America’s Got Talent

Tonight, NBC boasts a night full of surprises and special guests as the peacock puts an end to it’s staple (and successful) summer alternative program, as the network calls it. The live two-hour season finale boasts some of the biggest names in music and entertainment taking the stage with the show’s finalists. NBC has just announced that performers Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, LeAnn Rimes, Cobra Starship with Sabi and OneRepublic will join previously announced performers Tony Bennett with Queen Latifah, Season 5 finalist Jackie Evancho, Def Leppard and Cirque du Soleil. Wonder, LaBelle, Rimes and Cobra Starship with Sabi are slated to perform duets with POPLYFE, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Silhouettes, and Team iLuminate respectively. One of the four finalists will be crowned the winner. Who would you like to see take home the crown? Watch tonight’s finale with fans right here in our forum! Survivor: South Pacific

Last season, Survivor added a new game-changing twist…Redemption Island. This season, Survivor brings Redemption Island back, promising new twists along the way. Not only is Survivor bringing back Redemption Island, but they’re taking a page out of their book from last season and bringing back two former contestants to help “guide” the new castaways. Ozzy the ultimate physical competitor and Coach the “Dragonslayer” make their way back to life on a stranded. The theme of the season appears to be changes as the immunity idol will also pick up a change or two in how it’s claimed by a player this season. America’s Next Top Model

Top Model returns this season with 14 of your fan favorites from season’s past. Top Chef: Just Desserts

While this Bravo hit isn’t premiering or ending tonight, the competition continues on with yet another grueling week at impressing the judges with quality and incomparable desserts. The chefs have the test of their lives as they work together to replicate the world of wonka. As the original cast of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory grace the small screen as guests of the latest installment of the Emmy winning reality competition, the chefs are forced to stretch their imaginations to the limit. Who will succeed and who will fail miserably? Which chef will be asked to pack up their knives? Find out TONIGHT at 10/9c on Bravo.

Brittani is so stoked that Molly and her are in the top two, and she is so happy to be here, showing her mother what she can do. Molly also feels very happy to be here, happy to make her mom proud, knowing that becoming a better person is the best thing that can come out of this experience. Brittani thinks Molly is confident about taking good pictures but nervous because Brittani thinks of herself as more high fashion. Tyra mail is three words from the Moroccan language that they may or may not be using in their cover girl commercial. The next morning when they go to their first event for the day, they get one on one interviews with Ivan from IMG models. He though Molly had the magic in her photos, and that he was interested in seeing Brittani on the runway. The very next scene the girls met Mister Jay for their cover girl commercials, they were going to be shot on a white background from three different camera angles with a teleprompter showing them their script in the center. The product is cover girl lip profection, and Mister Jay really wanted them to make their personality shine. Molly thought she was better suited because Brittani seemed to be having some anxiety issues, but Mister Jay just wanted them to be themselves and move in their own space. He thought Molly was over thinking it. and that she was so concerned with being herself and being a model, so fixed on meeting the two she lost some of her charm. Brittani wants to pull ahead but she sounded like she was reading off a laundry list and it made Jay a little nervous, but she brought enough confidence for a genuine commercial, and she ended really well. She was quirky and comfortable and did a really good commercial.

Then they immediately went to take their beauty in vogue cover shots, the photographer thought Molly had a beautiful smile, perfect face, and a wonderful shoot, but the photographer thought Brittani was the model of the past. The next day they went for their italian vogue spread shoot, they were looking for strong energy, and Brittani was the one they enjoyed working with the most. They liked how she took charge and she was very professional, whilst Molly was cranky and annoyed with the entire thing. Brittani was hoping that her bad mood would affect her the rest of the competition giving her an edge. When the girls get home, Molly is surprised that her parents are there waiting for her, she was adopted and she mentions again how grateful she is. It makes Brittani sad because she knows her mom can’t be here because of her health issues, and she says that its so disheartening when she’s always looking for someone and no one is ever there. Later on she gets to video chat with her mom about everything and her mom tells her she would be there if she could.

That night they got a Tyra mail that said tomorrow’s runway will be modeling mania, which means its time for the final runway. They Mister Jay the next day at a palace where they will be wearing Vivian Westwood in a salon style fashion show for 1600 people. They will be wearing her newest line, Anglomania with their friends Kasia, Alenandria, Hannah, and of course last cycle’s winner Ana. Alex is rooting for Molly, Hannah is rooting for Brittani and Kasia is split between the two, Brittani expects better from herself because her runway has been consistantly better than Molly. Tyra talks to Molly and her family telling them how Molly has told her how much she appreciates them and that she is so proud. Tyra then talks to Brittani and she says its okay because she didn’t expect her mom to be there, and Tyra tells her that the industry needs strength like hers and to work it out there. Ana goes first and she’s a big hit, Molly and two others pose and then Molly walked down the middle of the room, and looks great. Kasia goes, then Hannah, and then Brittani who gets a so good comment from one of the judges. Back stage is a mad house with everyone running around, pushed back and forth, getting ready for their next walk, Molly goes a second lap, she looks great and has beautiful rhythm like a whole nother person. Brittani’s second run gives her a rush of confidence that makes her feel like she looks golden. Alexandria takes the final lap before both Molly and Brittani walk the floor, posing together, it was hard because the other didn’t know what the one would do and it made Brittani giggle. They were walking out when Brittani tripped, couldn’t catch herself, and hurt her ankle real bad. Molly helped her up but she was limping back stage, she also cut her wrist on the way down and Mister Jay asked her to make it through the last goodbye where the models walk in a circle and clap. She keeps going but is disappointed in herself, then Ivan and Mister Jay come back to tell the girls they are going to get a new look for panel which has never been done before on Top Model. He tells them they are officially models now and that they should go with the flow.

Up next was panel where both Molly and Brittani had extremely short pixie cuts, Brittani’s was slightly shorter than Molly’s, hers had what looked like a little more bangs. Brittani went up first, they liked her urban walk, and that she was about to come back from her fall. They liked that she worked with Molly but Tyra hated that she giggled during the performance, it was very unprofessional. For her commercial, Jay liked that she let nothing bother her, he thought she was pretty much perfect. The judges thought Brittani’s ad was stunning, brilliant, and made them want the lipstick. The only thing Andre didn’t like was that her left hand was very heavy. In deliberation the judges looked through practically all the photos the girls did before, and judged on them. They loved Brittani’s long neck, and thought she was always a surprise, and then they focused back on this weeks work. They were proud that even though she fell, she came out smiling and clapping, and you could not see the pain she was in. They thought Brittani had a uniqueness that was beautiful, they went back to an earlier double girl picture, they thought that Brittani was wearing the hat compared to it wearing her. She gets into the character, she has an emotional soul, and they liked that she seemed more romantic. Then it was Molly’s turn, they loved her walk and she seemed to have a signature shake to her, but at one point she looked kinda cheep and it was obvious she was thinking about the walk and her nervous took over. Sometimes she had too much bounce and she needs to work on smoothing her transitions when she pauses. Molly’s commercial was gorgeous however she looked like a mean girl and that isn’t cover girl. Its not inviting, but Jay did say however that she read the entire script from memory and for him, was completely charming. For Molly’s ad, she seemed committed to it, the light was stunning, and she looked soft and gentle. She helped deliver the image, she was wonderfully framed, almost like a tigress but not intimidating, more of an enchanted danger. In deliberation, they thought she had a great profile and totally had the top model it factor. They believed she was on top of the camera, and completely living in the moment. I believe it was Andre who loved her body movements and shapes, that she had a natural portfolio and was not the average blond at all. They agreed that Molly sells clothes, but in one her pictures her hat was wearing her, she wasn’t wearing the hat. Andre loves how the light sits on her face and thinks that she would be booked for her young new now look, and Jay just had to point out that she nailed three best photos in a row.

The girls come back, hold hands, and await Tyra’s final announcement. And America’s new top model is… Brittani! Girl from the trailer part is now an IMG model, a cover girl, and is going to be in Italian Vogue; Tyra tells her to take that and run with it. Tyra tells Molly that rejection hurts but it doesn’t make us stop, and that she can still be a very successful model.

Last Night, on America’s Next Top Model:

Brittani was very excited to see Alexandria go home finally, but knows now that theres only three of them that its going to be much harder. She sees that Molly is doing better than her in pictures and that Hannah could do better in commercials than her. Hannah believes she’s the whole package and that she can beat the other two if she keeps out of bottom two. Molly believes she belongs here the most, she can beat Hannah’s emotional side which could bring her down, but she knows she needs to stop being so angry. Mister Jay walks in as they finish cleaning up their house, and he says he has special news from Hollywood. A chick from the insider fills them in on their next challenge, which is a ninety second time slot on Moroccan fashion where they create questions they can ask experts at the locations they are given. The winner’s time slot will be shown on the website, they have an hour to research and then they have to film their interview of someone on the streets or their expert. Brittani has henna, Molly has black kole, and Hannah has argan oil. Molly went to a medicine man, Brittani found a man who knows a little bit of english, and Hannah took journalism courses so she uses that to her advantage. She wasn’t afraid to ask the person she was interviewing to keep the talking to a minimum. Molly is hoping the other girls suck, Brittani is really worried about messing it up and being seen as an incomplete package, and Hannah is trying to remain confident and calm. They get back to the house where Mister Jay is waiting for them to view their videos. Hannah thinks Brittani’s video is a bit of a hit or miss, and she barely made it in the time slot. Mister Jay told her she didn’t utilize her expert, and all the moving didn’t allow her to complete her closing statement. Molly’s video was informative and she used her expert and show how to put it on, and she was live when she thought she was off telling everyone her take was awful. Hannah had a good video, informative and good but she didn’t finish but she didn’t interact with her people the way Mister Jay would have likely. He wanted personality, information, and using the people, he choose Molly as the winner for covering all the bases he was looking for.

The next day, Tyra sneaks into the girls apartment to ask them how they were doing and what they have been learning throughout the competition. Molly opened up about being adopted and abandoned, and how wonderful her adopted parents were for her. Hannah has come out of her shell more, and been able to be more of herself since she has gone through the competition. Brittani opened up about how her mothers issues affected her, and her life, and that has only reinforced her love and her appreciation for her mother. Tyra then takes them out where she is going to photograph them, she also did their hair and their make-up for a quickie photo-shoot. She wants small micro-movements and the first emotional face that comes to mind. Molly wants Brittani to go home because in runway, Brittani is her biggest competition. Hannah is getting nervous and stressed because she thinks the other girls don’t see her as competition anymore. Tyra then taught them more about micro-movements, moving one single part of the body at a time, a technique called isolation. As they are doing this, she leads them to the roof-top with traditional Moroccan drummers and hats, and for a little fun down time. And Tyra tells the girls as she’s leaving, the next time she sees them there will only be two moving on to become America’s Next Top Model.

Tyra mail: are you really committed? We’ll find out tomorrow. Molly knows it all or nothing today, and she just wants to model. Mister Jay and Nigel were there, today they are wearing Moroccan wedding gowns, and they want to see if the girls can bring the story to their photographs. Thats the main goal of the day, they will be shooting with a man model who can be the groom or the best man but they have to being the story. Mister Jay wants them to talk, work as a team, they need chemistry and a connection. Nigel was telling Molly how she shouldn’t think about physical, she should think about emotion. Mister Jay didn’t see connection or chemistry with her and the man model. Molly expressed her frustrations to Jay, and her told her it was difficult but he saw something in it. Hannah wanted to push and pull with the model, and Nigel liked the concept. Mister Jay liked it but thought it could be over emotional but it worked well and she stayed in character. Nigel was worried she could have lost her pretty in her aggressive face but she brought the story. Brittani thought she would do the aloof, bored with the husband type picture. Mister Jay wanted Brittani to commit to the emotion like Hannah did, and get into the character. He thought that she come to set with so much confidence that she might be treating it like a joke. Brittani burst into tears, and it looked good but Nigel believes she can’t cry every time to produce a real emotion, she has to pull from within. Hannah feels like she brought her all, and Brittani is worried that its either her or Molly going home.

The guest judge at panel this week was the vice president of IMG models, Ivan Bart. Tyra is always the one to choose the girls best photo, and this week they all did so good they each had two great photos. Tyra loved Brittani’s concept, and Nigel thought she should let the story develop form the emotion, not write the story. Ivan Bart thought her second photo was half done, that it was almost there, almost great. Brittani can model, but shooting her is not enjoyable, and thats the worst phone call a manager can get. Hannah went with an emotional that is embedded in her personality, Andre loved the belt which is his way of telling the girl she is doing a good job. Nigel said her emotions almost became her problem, because she has to remember not to lose her model. Tyra and Ivan loved the continuation of her story, but Nigel was still worried about over doing it. Hannah is adorable, and even though she was going to break down talking about her strength but Ivan sees her radiating energy. Molly used her rocky history in her photos, Ivan believes her face is stunning and that photography is her strong point. Nigel loved that Molly made all the decisions and he could follow her in her story. Ivan thinks Molly is beautiful but she needs to work on her energy and presenting herself. Tyra believes she is genuine and lovely. Before panel goes into deliberation, she tells the girls two finalists will be in a runway for Vivian Westwood, an extremely celebrated designer.

Molly got best photo, and was automatically a finalist. Brittani and Hannah were left to await to hear the outcome. Hannah has a face that can sell, sell, sell, that she is an edgy girl next door when she has the fire but does she have the strength. Brittani had strength, but since they crossed the ocean, the strength has been fading in her photos. Brittani is chosen as the other finalist, because she has the chance to show that she has the inner strength to take the criticism. Tyra told Hannah that she is beautiful and stunning and her unique look can take her places. Next week, Brittani and Hannah shoot their cover girl ads, commercials, their fashion in vogue covers, walk in a Vivian Westwood runway, and the winner will shoot her spread in Vogue Italia.

Last night, on America’s Next Top Model:

Final four in Morocco, Molly is feeling good about her top picture and Brittani feels really good about making it this far. Alexandria is glad its the four of them but she’s nervous about being the bottom two again last panel. Hannah feels like she has the power to beat the competition, and that she believes each girl comes from a different background and thats really nice. Miss Jay comes to visit, and he announces an important client they are going to have tea with, so he gives them their portfolios and they go on their way. They end up having tea with Franca and Miss Jay while showing their pictures and talking about their inspirations. Molly wants to create ads that people rip out and paste on their walls, and she asks Franca questions too. Brittani says she’s been saving all her vogues under her bed and it got to be a problem with her mother, she talked a lot without outshining anyone but definitely not fading away in the background. And then there’s another special guest, a professional tea tray dancer, Noor. She begins to teach them to balance the tea trays on their head, and Miss Jay says even if falls to keep your composure. Alexandria said the experience was cultural, but she went a little overboard with her type of dancing. Miss Jay had his last huge surprise that the girls would be dancing in performance tonight in front of a live audience, so they better be practicing.

The girls won’t be dancing alone though, they will be performing with professional dancers and lit candles! The prize is lovely though, the winner which is chosen by Miss Jay and Noor, will receive a private walk workout with Miss Jay himself. Molly is down the steps first, she says a few swears after tripping on her skirt and dropping a few things. Her face tensed up and that brought down the rest of her performance down, because Miss Jay noticed. Brittani was awesome, she used her hands and her hips and never dropped a thing. Hannah was also very good, lots of arm movements and didn’t drop anything. Alexandria was pretty good, very powerful but then dropped everything on the floor. She got too cocky and totally ruined it for herself. Miss Jay loved Alex’s confidence until everything came down, he was very impressed with Brittani. Miss Jay noticed that Hannah was trying to do the hulu or the wave and not the tea tray dance, Alexandria was runner-up and Brittani won. She got the chance to work on her runway with Miss Jay, and she got to pick a friend! She chose Hannah, because she believed she wanted it the most but also needed it the most.

Brittani and Hannah met Miss Jay at a beautiful garden, and he drilled them hard. He gave them hints saying that the final runway might be more intimate with audience and perhaps going in and out of several rooms. So he taught them a secret little move called the half turn so they could improve themselves and maneuver. They girls are getting hungry, so they go to look for food and they find a table with brains and goat heads and such. They all try a piece of brain, and it seemed like none of them liked it. The Tyra mail was ah the sweet smell of soukces and I have no idea what that could possibly refer to. Brittani got a little sick from the brain trying earlier that day and hoped her stomach ache wouldn’t carry over into what could possibly be a photo-shoot tomorrow. The next day, the girls meet Mister Jay above the market on a rooftop, and he tells the girls that they are going to be shooting in the market place, and they are going to try and continue the story from the camels. The photograph tells the girls to allow themselves to get lost in the culture, and feel the energy of the marketplace. Mister Jay wants Hannah to feel inspired by the environment, and live in her moment, in a real moment rather than a fantasy. Mister Jay thought she was getting lost, she was going for romance-meeting her lover in the marketplace. The photographer thought she was posy, and that she was pretty but not that great, Mister Jay told her to go back to what she knows and that freaks her out and makes her nervous. Molly is next, and Mister Jay tells her that this area is her playground and to not make another profile shot. The photographer thought Molly was a good editorial girl and a beautiful model, and Mister Jay was very happy with her shoot. Mister Jay had a talk with Alexandria before her shoot starts telling her to just let go and stop controlling herself today, which is meant with the best intensions but totally pisses Alex off. Her outfit made her feel like a princess, dressed as a prince, and the photograph wanted her to stop holding tension in her face, to just relax. Brittani was still feeling blah from the food sickness, and it started to rain as her shoot began. Mister Jay thought even though she had an extra challenge she really brought herself to the destination, and the photograph said Brittani gave him a lot of inspiration.

Panel is tomorrow, and Molly feels confidence that Mister Jay and the photograph liked her stuff, and she hopes Alex goes home because she didn’t think she did very well. Brittani feels confidence but she knows that doesn’t always mean something because panel likes different things than she likes. Hannah is very scared because she knows she didn’t do her absolute best at the shoot today and it makes her nervous. The guest judge is Daniella Issa Hel whose clothes were worn at the marketplace photo-shoot. Alexandria went first, Andre thought the clothes were interesting, and her face looked crazy interesting. Nigel wished she did more with her body, and Daniella liked it somewhat. Andre thought it was beautiful but it wasn’t saying anything, Nigel agreed. Brittani went next, Nigel thought it was beautiful but that she lost an arm, Tyra didn’t see high fashion but thought she was definitely closer. Daniella thought Brittani looked great in her pictures, and looked sweet but they need drama. Hannah went next and Nigel thought it was unusual, interesting and great body language, but her face could use more. Danielle thought she was beautiful and lovely, and Tyra thought she lacked extremes and that she needs to focus more on her extremes. The judges agree Hannah’s face didn’t go with her body and they need to see that control. Molly, Andre thought she was high fashion, Daniella loved her pose and face, Nigel was taken somewhere, and Tyra saw she showcased the clothes but without overdoing anything. Nigel said Molly is high fashion and dramatic, and that she can sell the clothes while being amazing, but the tough girl thing needs a little change.

Best photo this week is Molly, her second week in a row. Tyra tells her its fabulous, modeling the clothes, and selling the clothes but that the judges want to see her mix it up and not look tough in every picture. Runner up is Brittani, and you can see the thankful look in her eye, she is so happy to be staying. Alexandria and Hannah are in the bottom two, Tyra thinks they both have lovely similarities, but they have distinctive differences as well. Alexandria has too much control, and its not high fashion while Hannah lacks control, and seems as if she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Hannah stays because of her strong, breath-taking pictures but she just needs to bring it every time. Alexandria is going home, Tyra tells her she has to relax and that she doesn’t need to fight her angles, just let it be. There are only three girls left! And next week, someone is crying rivers of frustration at a photo-shoot and its making her stand out in a bad way.

Next week, the final three battle it out to see who becomes America’s Next Top Model! Who is your pick to win it all?

The CW has given America’s Next Top Model an early green light for another season, and the show will feature, for the very first time, the ANTM All Star’s. The show plans on bringing back models who were the most memorable, whether it be the background stories, or just the interaction they had with the other models (aka dominate personalities). Details on the cast has not yet been revealed, but as usual, keep tuned to the Yak and we will let you know as soon as we find out!

The show, what we will believe will be Cycle 17 unless they just choose to call it All Stars, will air in the Fall.

So, what are your guesses? I assume we will see Jade once again… she was nothing if not memorable. Also, remember Heather, the model who has Aspergers? She was one of my favorites, and I am hoping to see her return as well. Also, I wonder if they will “All Star” the judges table, bringing back some of the old judges, like Janice and Twiggy. Will the prizes be bigger? So much to learn!
